2. This one is difficult to answer, but please understand that Kazunori & team Polyphony has a very specific level of technology/visual quality standard that they stick to, and they don't want to sacrifice it by giving too much freedom in the players hands. They've always struggled with this balance, but at the same time they are very aware that level of customization always comes top on the list in fans' requests. Again, as they work on optimizing the code and as the hardware gets updated, you will see improvements in this area as well.

Personally, I don't want livery editor.

This needs a lot more votes!

Just put something like this: "We don't wanna hear, again, you laughing, saying that is technically possible. We want to know when. Or why you don't fancy getting one into GT, at least.

I'm pretty sure he never promised such a thing.

As far as I recall it went something like this;

"It's technically possible... we may be working on it"
I thought the exact same!
Was a bit confused reading the OP!

All they need to do is have an option for online lobbies to enable or disable livery visibility and have some sort of flagging system for inappropriate content (maybe tie that to their driving ability to get better results).

There really is no reason other than time and resources not to have a livery editor in a game like GT.

Also can you remove the 'all' bit no one I know cares about an insignificant livery editor. The cost to benefit ratio is way to low. Probably can't be donenon ps3 due to memory space either...

Then you don't know many people. Majority wants it

I almost didn't like this suggestion because of the way the question is worded. However, I would like to know if there are any plans to bring something like a livery editor to the series in future and what, if any, limiting factors have prevented it from being a consideration for development in the past.

I would absolutely hope that the question is re-worded and phrased eloquently and respectfully if put forward to Kaz/PD.

No disrespect intended to the OP, the question just isn't the way I would choose to approach this subject.

Edit: OP has updated the title. 👍

When did he promise this? I remember him saying he would like it to be included .
Agree, when should he ever promised this? We all have the big wish about this, but it was never promised.

Thats from like 9 years ago
damn.. it that picutre a fake, or i simly can´t remember? If its not a fake. Kaz... hold your word!

The picture is real to my knowledge. Of course, the "promises" in it don't apply anymore because they were to be included in GT:HD (you can clearly see the big GT:HD logo behind the text) and that was cancelled in late 2006.

I didn't like/vote this question due to its wording. If OP is smart he will change the question to embrace a more adequate wording and thus gaining more votes. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Would I want a game where the gfx are better for premiums and pitstops are fixed and camber fixed or one where you can create your own cruddy livery? I think I know which I'd choose.

Why not have all of them... 💡

I pick livery editor.

The fact still remains that this was never promised. Having a pretty obnoxious, and more so false title, isn't going to bolster your chances of getting the question picked.

People vote for this because they do want the livery editor though, not just because it's said to be promised

Kaz still picks what questions he answers though. He won't pick one with a blatantly false title.

Well I get your point. Still it's just meant to ask for this editor, and it's one of the most frequently asked questions so he should pick it nevertheless
