Will there be any GT5 add-ons in the Playstation store?

They should add new cars in a DLC, as the 599 GTO and Koenigsegg Agera and the Bugatti Veyron Supersports (which would be premium, of course) and some more tracks included in the F1 season and le castellet and some drag strips. 👍

drag strips, and a 2011 CTS V sedan and coupe that you can RM.

Why do you doubt it? GT5 is the first iteration of GT to be connected to the internet and from the looks of it so far, Kaz and PD are taking advantage of it.

To this point, we have had fairly regular updates which most of the nay sayers, said would never happen. They were wrong. To not take advantage of DLC, paid or not, would be idiotic and detrimental to the sales of GT6.

Doubt it. Really doubt it.

They probably should worry about fixing all the bugs and finishing rhe game before they start with the add-ons.

Yeah because all other devs do this don't they? :dunce:

They would be missing out on huge profits if they don't release dlc, they might just give us stuff for free like they have been doing so far. Who knows.

I have a friend who lives in California and he lives right next to Infineon and he was telling me a few weeks ago that there was a group of Asian guys just walking the track for like a week taking pictures of everything. Could be a possibility of PD being there but it could of been anyone

Shouldn't really be that hard for them to bring back the fantasy tracks that were in previous GT games

They should do it, but then what would they package in "Gran Turismo 5, Epilogue?" (Due out holidays 2013).

The car packs for Forza are excellent and plenty. I hope PD feels the need to keep up wih that. A lot of peple like me simply don't use Standard cars, they are an insult to GT5, so we need more Premiums over time for the game not to get old quick.

I wouldn''t be surprised if they eventually make the stealth cars available in the store.

As for the "Americans got stiffed on tracks" BS, how many UK tracks are in the game? At least you got Laguna Seca.

And I'm not counting the London street racing.

Americans got shafted? Yes but Australians got 3 cars (down from 5 in GT4) and ZERO tracks. There are a lot of good race tracks here, some of which are used for world series like F1, MotoGP, WRC, Targa, Indy Cars, Superbikes, etc.

But we'd be happy with just one that deserves to be included: BATHURST.

I'd pay plenty just to have Bathurst in the game and I'd be happy..

EDIT: Also, I'd pay for all the old GT tracks, especially El Capitan.

I would be stunned if they did not sell cars as DLC at some point. They would just be throwing away easy money if they did not.

I think it would be a big production to add a track. That would have to be from like a full fledged expansion pack way down the road.

I am hopeful that PD means no more cars will be added to the core game release, but I doubt they would rule out future downloadable content. It would be a huge gold mine for them to tap into...

Besides, they made some crazy choices in the car list:
No Ariel Atom, how can you have the top gear track without an ariel atom? nuff said.
No Mazdaspeed3 1st or 2nd gen (it's a killer FWD hatch, decent tuning community too)
No Scion tC (not a huge fan, but they have the xA and xB, why no tC? it's the sportiest of the group anyway)

And there's plenty more examples of strange absences from the list.

I think PD just does not know about certain cars. I wonder if there are Japanese versions of the MazdaSpeed 3 or Scion TC, it always seems that the japanese cars in the game are JDM spec, never US spec. The Mazda 6 is a perfect example, only has the base model 2.5L 4cyl, instead of the US spec 280hp V6.

I bought every FM3 DLC car pack and enjoyed them all. I would do the same in GT5 if given the option. My best advice for PD is this.

Assign a team of staff to gather information on what great cars are missing and from what regions, then put together the car packs like that. Us Americans could get greats like the 11' Mustang GT 5.0, CTS-V, and Cobalt SS. While other regions like UK could get greats like the new Aston Martin DBS. That is my dream.:)

Who got shafted the most?
Canadians have 1 car and zero tracks.
No Circuit de Gilles Villaneauve F1,Nascar Nationwide track.
No Mosport, one of the most difficult and treacherous F1 tracks in the world,Can-Am,SCTA and numerous other series.
Toronto Indy Road course.

Mazdaspeed 3 is the Axela MPS in many other markets, but I'm not sure if it's offered in Japan or not. Wikipedia doesn't list it at least 👎
