I'm just glad there are more licensed teams in each new version that comes out. Maybe by the time the PS3 is released we won't need patches anymore.

Yeah well, there won't be a way to patch the next gen console games for a while.

Looks like fernando will be getting on with the English translation of WE10, which is a good thing!

A South Korean on the cover of a Japanese game? Gasp!

Thats Shinji Nakumura you nublet!

Other rumours are that Czech team will also be real licenced and that Pes6 will be released in May to benifit from the world cup sales etc. Oh also people have spotted that italian national team licence as well so Italy are more than likely fully licenced.
Also nobody has seen any ingame shots with Germany and I think france so there may be a possibility of them being licenced as well. But this is all rumours anyway.

So what the hell kind of uniform is that? I assumed it was South-Korea-ish.

Nahh, south korea uses Nike for their kits and thats all addias gear. Thats just some addidas traning stuff he's got on. Also i've seen some screens that show that italy have been licenced.

It's Luca Toniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!

Well...You know how bobo Konami can possibly be. Landon "Dontan" sounds like a pokemon.

Ok got WE10, i'm giving it a good play at the moment. :D

One thing, they've removed the auto sidestep and put it back to r2. So it's taking a bit of getting used to after getting used to it on we9 and pes5.

Argh I can't figure out how to change bits in the formation. The damn formation menu is like completely different to the previous games. At the moment i'm only using arsenal because it's the only team that i've changed the names into english.

One neat thing is this quick free kick thing, if you get fouled you press R1 + R2 and you quickly take the free kick. It's good for suprising someone with.

Oh, PES2, times.
I was in a PES2 competition. I won every match except one (draw) and didn't go further in the competition :(
I was ace at that game...

I think PES2 was my favourite of the series, obviously i wouldn't play it now but i think i loved it more than the other PES games if you know what i mean.

I never realy started playing allot up untill pes3, well that was when I started not completely sucking.

Ok ok new modes ahoy!

Now in the Previous winning 11 game there was a mode that took you through the process of qualifying for the world cup and then entering the tournament. Unfortunately they decided to scupper it by making it only for the Japan national team.

Ok so that mode is still there, but above it is another one that allows you to do this for every other national side. So you qualify and then take part in the world cup.

At the moment i've only just qualified with a game to spare using england, with a fairly easy group of france Belgium and Poland.

In this mode you are only able to have 5 subs on the bench like in the real thing. But during these qualifyer rounds you are able to pick and change your squad after each qualifying round, from pretty much every other English player in the game. So you have to choose who you want in your squad and also injuries count.

I'm assuming that when you qualify for the world cup that means you have to pick a final squad that is probably a bit larger than what I keep picking now though.

It's a good new mode.

Oh yeah Fernando has translated allot of stuff on it already, but he's still working on a full translation!

QUOTES

"That is NOT what you want to see on a football pitch!"
"It looked like he was on side, that's a HARSH decision!"
"HE SHOOTS FROM THERE!"
"Although you may feel frustrated, don't chuck your controller, everyone's a winner!"
"I'm sure the player got a tired thumb after the match"
"That's a contender for goal of the month"
"This man's dangerous on the cross!"
"Park. The tireless worker"

I have the game already but I'll wait for Fernando's full translation patch to start playing it.

Hello Guys,

Felt its was good to write this message and also pass along the torch to my fellow patch makers.

I quit the translation of Winning Eleven series.

The reason is far more complicated that i could explain but well, its a mix of things.
I just came to work and went to a video rental store, which btw, as ususla here, sells copies of ps2 games.

I so we10 and for 15 minutes there where a lot of suits buying the game and going to their offices.
So basically i felt responsable for a good part in all this, which is inevitable and happens loads of times like this ****er on ebay. But again, inevitable. We is more and more famous every year, as football is in places like USA, which didnt give a **** about this games some time ago.

So well, what can i say, good luck everybody!!! Its been a pleasure serve the community and help ppl playing the game we all love.

Feel free to continue my work, and dont forget to thank ppl like Jay who is working his ass off to make this playable for you, and so guys like Reefur, Abscroll and other patch makers.

Best thing is i won good friends here

Thanks for the all the support, that was the main reason that lead me to translate in the first place.

See ya,

Fernando
Ex-Official WE Series Translator

If you use the patch, as usual, write it in the readme.

Well, I just got this one:

Fernando's WE10 English Patch v2wip (24/APR/06) ONLY FOR DVD
------------------------------------------------------------------

Well last patch gentlemen.

There is more Master League Translation and lotsa fixes. More edit..
etc

Thats all i had on my pc.

Thanks for your support all over these years,

Fernando

Fernando's WE10 English Patch v1 (24/APR/06) ONLY FOR DVD
------------------------------------------------------------------

Whats New:

Directly from JayZ:

All National teams 100%
All England Premier League 100%
3 French clubs
Boca & River 100%

That includes player names of above mentioned.

As for the game, the parameters pics is now on in english as
the main menu translation pic by Yogui.

Formation and a lot of Japanese stuff has been translated making this a really
good v1 patch

And there's also this option file, but I don't have a pen drive anymore so no go. :indiff:

Rammstone's WE10 V.04

Just to make things clear:
If you use this option file with we10 without patch, or with Fernando v0, it will work but you will miss out on a wild guess about 20% translated player names.
If you use it with Fernando v1 or v2 everything works great.

I CAN NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT THE WEN POINTS!
v0.4
- All national/club team names translated 100%
- All stadium names translated 100%
- All league/cup names translated 100%
- All club/national player names translated 100%

I know there are some fake and double player issues. If someone wants to help me with making a list of the real names of the fake or double players I will of course fix it. If not I will give it a shot myself but right now I need a little break.

I'll test the Fernando V2 patch in a few minutes.

Winning Eleven is ALWAYS checked out in Blockbuster.

Okay, the patch worked alright. Not 100% translated but I'll do fine with this for now. I only had time to play one match last night so I couldn't tell much differences from PES5 to WE10. The movements are twicked a bit, and the shots to goal feel somewhat different too, but it hasn't changed a lot.

I played Brazil vs Barcelona on four stars, won 1x0 on a corner kick headshot. A good start. :D Now I must test it against the real enemies - my friends. :p

Ah, another thing: In the intro video Zico is showed a lot, yelling at his players. And at the very beggining there's something written in Portuguese, "Uma jogada pode mudar o mundo". It means something like "A play can change the world". Cool touch. :)
