Behold Benedict Radcliffe's "Modern Japanese Classic," a 1:1 scale Subaru Impreza wireframe art project. We heard it was still in dev though, they haven't enabled textures yet.

Now that is really nice, I love it.

So real it looks fake.

Holy crap. Thats awesome! Should make a wire interior aswell though!

Saw this on digg.com about a week ago. Pretty cool. 👍

I would love to just have one outside my car or in my garden..... people would look at it and think that they have gone mad! like their eyes are playing tricks on them, you could have it all neon wire so it glowed at night, would be a great advertising tool for Subaru...... MAN I WANT ONE!!!!!!!

May I'l buy some wire and try and wrap it round my Vauxhall Corsa!

Thats pretty cool! I could see some stoned kids who just watched the matrix seeing this and tripping out.

"Oh man, I should have taken the other pill!"

whoa that trippy, it looks like someone took a picture and used a computer and layered it on.

Good Find 👍

That's quite incredible. I love it how that managed to get "Yokohama" written on the sides of the tires.

Thats really awesome. I wonder how long it took to create. 👍

Geez... Can they do it in the form of a Viper now??

A severe case of "too much free time"

Actually I think it was necessary to hold the "rims" in place.

Incredible. It'd be my new wallpaper if any of the photos were big enough.

I think so too.

Damn, that's some talent right there. I can't believe no-one has ever tried this before. Should they endeavour to craft additional wireframe into the interior, it would be interesting to know how they would do it (I take it the only way to ever really get a full wire-frame picture of a car would be by obtaining the original cad files from Subaru?).

Either way, I'd love to try that, especially for it to light up at night; a true tribute to it's design sitting in a house walkway or backyard.
