Which points system should we use?

  • 1: 40 per race, 20 pole position, 0 points second in qualifying

    Votes: 0 0.0%

  • 2: 40 per race, 20 pole position, everyone else gets 2 points less per position

    Votes: 1 10.0%

  • 3: 40 per race, 2 pole position, everyone else gets 0 points

    Votes: 6 60.0%

  • 4: 50 per race, no qualifying points

I don't doubt that. That's the point I'm trying to make. Yeah, the Volvo and I don't mesh the way I thought. Why would I run a car that's understeering?

Edit: polar, are you saying that bad things will happen if whiskymaser wins?

Fine, I'll make sure to only drive my own car. I won't drive his 240SX for him, and he will still probably only get fifth at best. :lol:

I wish I were equally fast in all cars, but, I don't think I am. Further testing required. We could go to Autumn Ring Mini and High Speed Ring to test handling and top speeds (respectively.)

They're not too bad, but some are unfairly quick. ;)

Cnd's running 256 hp. Everyone else is fine. Whiskymaser's his own worst enemy, ramming past us to be the first one to fly off-track in turn 1. It happens to the most "normal" of us. (I.e., the type that know nothing about real racing but come here for fun)
 
All I'm gonna say is be consistent. You guys said I was too fast, so be consistent. If whiskey has a car that's capable of times comparable to what the neon was running and he doesn't get nerfed, there will be blood.

Whatever happened to "I'm going to get all the cars within 1-2 mph of each other"? That's a fact jack.

As for the other cars, High Speed Ring shows that they're close. We need a bit of a change, but, they're not drastic changes.

We're testing the new specs now.


Pre-emptively, we have:

BMW 330i - 256/1270
Renault Mégane (stop the championship wash!) - 266/1200
Dodge SRT4 - 256/1130 (with cnd's option to run more ballast if desired for some strange reason)
Honda Civic/Volvo C30 - 286 (maybe)/1200
Nissan - 256/1270
 
BMW - 256/1270 - 1:14.274
VW Scirocco R - 256/1200 - 1:12.619
VW Scirocco R - 236/1200 - 1:14.1xx

Final spec for Scirocco for tomorrow's race: 236/1200

You do know that the top 4 in the championship points are Americans, right? I see no racism here at all. Or, is there something you're not telling us about your profile? :scared: It says USA, I see no reason to think that...

Thing is, your Volkswagen's very fast in the straights. With 276 hp, you'll have no one to race against, you'll be in the lead, 4-5 seconds per lap faster.
 
Mental racing today, guys! What a great barrel of laughs Race 2 was! Wow!

Race 1, braunracing88 is banned for conduct, following poor conduct, disobedience, blocking, delaying, and spec refusal.
 
My stewarding review


None of this is final, just what I've noticed, feel free to check it out and see if you see the problems.

There may be multiple incidents on the same lap:

Scass- race 2- lap 9

Lancer- race 2- lap 10

Scass race 2- lap 14

Scass- race 2- lap 15

Lancer- race 2- lap 15

Scass- race 1- lap 1

Lancer- race 1- lap 1

Lancer- race 1- lap 4

Lancer- race 1- lap 6

Sak- race 1- lap 4

Race 1- lap 7- Mel

Mel- race 1- lap 9

On the Braun topic-

Mel banning him for blocking is stupid. Did he block? Yes. Does he cheat? Yep.

Mel went below Braun's level and took him out, and then tried to take him out again.


Not good, both of them.

It's just the beginning list. Maybe 1-2 of them deserve a penalty, nothing to be worried about really.
 
Braun ruined my race 1. I didn't ruin his Race 1.

Then, I asked him to leave, and he didn't leave. That's insubordination. That's him directly telling me, the series director, that he doesn't care what I say. There's no room for cheaters, and narcissists in ITCC. Not with prizes on the line.

No one is above the OLRs, not even me. If anyone else thinks I intentionally tried to spin Braun, while trying to avoid his blocking, I'll take a penalty in good faith. Last season, I was the first person to get a penalty, one that I gave myself.

However, I'd like to say that I didn't turn into Braun. I didn't try to spin him, nor did I spin him. He blocked me way more than he should've.
