Worst car possible?

2CV Update:

So, yeah, I pimped this bad boy up to a whopping 57BHP!! No supercharger option allowed, I'm afraid - no need for a method of dealing with exhaust gasses when your powerplant is an elastic band I guess. I slapped some racing stickies on it's feet and took it to the ring. 13minutes 23 seconds! It's not easy, tho, three times I almost drove straight off the track because I was too busy trying to claw my own eyes out my head to concentrate on the corner entrys.

On the plus side I've found a new torture device that I can sell to any unscrupulous governments who don't like waterboarding because the suicide rate is too low - the engine sound from bumper cam! Imagine being stuck in an empty oil drum, listening to Barry White being raped by a bunch of helicopters ...

McLaren F1, I mean you cant use the drive through at a fast food place without getting out of the car. I know the rich like to eat cheap too sometimes :)

Very funny, I wonder how old Barry would feel about that.
PS. the little bug thing really bugs me, slapped at my screen 3 times. fail me I guess:tdown:

I have fun with cheap cars, true! 2CV and similar, tuned and run in trophy mode with friends on small tracks. You must try. Many cars with more than 300 kph don't give the fun like this ones. Sometimes, run "slow" can be fun like run fast or more imo. Everything depends on friends and tracks.

I made a custom track on Mt. Aso and the Kubelwagen couldn't even make it up the hill, it got about half way and came to a stop, spinning it's tires!

The worst car is the Honda Beat.

It's slow, boring, ugly and cheap.
God no. The beat is no worse than the Mazda AZ-1 or the Suzuki Cappuccino, but I assume you don't like those either? There cars may be a lot slower than the rest of the cars in the game, but they're in no way boring. The Beat is one of my favorite little sports cars in the game. 👍

I'm gonna go with a faster car and say the TVR Speed Six. It feels like the wheels were welded in place so the car couldn't turn. The understeer on that car is amazingly an understatement.

I still never tried the 2cv. Do you win it somewhere? I might have it and just didn't realize it. I'm not at home to check right now.

Yeah I won it somewhere. Lucky me :grumpy: Can't remember where, tho. Check the prize cars thread.

I should've thought of that.
Amateur Series Aspec
Tous France Championship: Citroën 2 CV Type A ‘54 (S)
I'm gonna have to try this thing out when I get home and see what all the hoopla is about.:)

In real life there is a 2cv 24 hour race at Snetterton, which is an awful lot like Madrid. In future I might make a 2-hour online race there.:)

Jensen Interceptor; only has 3 gears, a max speed of 140 (without tuning), and doesn't have too good of handling (heavy weight).

The car is pretty cool in real life, and its engine sounds awesome, but it's just not meant to be used to race.

Does the gearbox behave like an automatic transmission this time or still like a manual one like in GT4?

Oh goodness, I beat that time by 2:12 last night in my go-kart. lol

You are a champ. :D

Well, some people still didn't get that GT games are becoming what Kaz always wanted: a car encyclopedia... for some of these cars, being able to drive them its almost a bonus. They are historical, etc.

I remember in GT4 me and my brother used to get a kick out of driving those old Mercs from the 1800's at the drag strip in Las Vagas at 19 kph.
You had to time the shift from 1st too 2nd perfectly or you would lose.

You not driven the VW Kubelwagen. 50 mph maximum. Massively slow

Yeah... I did a practice on the huge dirt trial on Eigard Norwand and couldn´t get that thing to pass the uphill section. I had to stop, put it on first, rev up and to my amusement, the thing started to slide backwards down the hill. It was very funny.

I can dig the really slow cars for the novelty factor or historical importance. The car that really makes me go "WTF were they smoking" has to be the '88 Accord coupe. I can only assume one of the modelers had his first sexual experience in one and wanted it preserved in the annals of video game history.
