1st gear corner? Exit in 3rd and change down to the gear you want after. The other important part is not to go flat on the throttle straight away. Smooth the input, control the output (BHP)

(I tried this on a C63 on CS tyres by the way... And a fully tuned KTM on ice. Which are both harder to control)
That's not a E55 AMG though. Nope 2nd gear corner.

Tune posted on my profile page for the 'MURIA!: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/tunes/lamborghini-miura-bertone-prototype-67-muria-tune.222/

Anyway, I was just kicked from a lobby for using it to beat 3 GTRs, 2 Vipers, and a Veyron on Nurburgring GP/D. It was a humiliation from the start. None of them stopped for the first corner, and I immediately took the lead within five seconds. Then, they all went the wrong way around the track (host included) to try and stop me, and evaded all of their blows for five laps. Sooner or later, they all gave up, left the track, and the host started kicking everyone out (ragekick, anyone?) for no reason.

Victory?

I'd say that is a definite victory. When a host kicks me for winning, I take it as a compliment.

Haven't had a chance to post this, but here's a quick story from yesterday.

Seeing as it was a bank holiday, all the usual kids were out to play. On a Monday. Yay...

I joined a room at cote and got my 81 Bhp Caterham out.

Host: "Get out the Caterham e21(🤬 you straight off)"
Me: "Is it really a problem?"
H: "Yes. They're all overly quick. Change or kick."

I done a full throttle lap (even overtaking a poorly driven C7) and got a 1:55.

Me: "A 1:55. Tell me... How fast is your GTR getting round here?"
H: "1:31. That's irrelevant."
Me: "RS tyres and 780bhp, with a stage 3 weight removal?"
H: "So?"
Me: "And I have a 50% power limit and CS tyres. My car is undertuned. Yours is overtuned."
H: "Bye then."

[You have been kicked out]

I normally would go "Ok fair enough." But this host was singling my 'Ram out because of the possibility that it was fully tuned and could beat his fastest lap. The 500bhp Focus ST? Fine apparently. The 1000bhp Viper on RS tyres? Same story. 1180bhp Veyron? Sure. Why not?

So retaliation seemed pointless but worth a shot.

10 minutes later I get a message from the host saying "Sorry. I was just upset about something. My girlfriend has left me a couple of months ago. Still raw."

THAT IS THE WORST EXCUSE IN THE SOLAR SYSTEM! Wow, get over it. You sounded about 14 and, yeah hi, IT WAS MONTHS ago. *sent*

"You think you're a big man huh? Chatting 🤬 over PSN? Go 🤬 yourself"

Well at least he apologized. It's a rough time you know :D

I had a room open with non race cars. The race starts and someone is in a racecar. Not only that they start in reverse and slam into me. I back out to kick the person and game frooze. Went back online and now that person is the leader of the room. I joined it and got kicked within seconds...Grrrr

Next time it might be a good idea to leave the track and remain entered before you start a race. Then you can kick any offenders out before the race starts and still participate.
Or you can require everyone be on track before you start the race.

Going into a room with my tunned Focus ST `13 beating lap times set by C7 Vette´s and Skylines and people got upset by it and started calling me racist names like "paki" and insultuous names given to arabics, wich is funny since i´m Portuguese and it has nothing to do with the Middle East since Portugal is West of Spain... I asked them why were they saying that and that Portugal was in Europe, but they said "Shut the 🤬 up" and kept going... I eventually had to leave the lobby... By the way they spoke and how they acted they looked like kids, probably no more than 12...

I think the fact that your ST was quicker than their Vettes and GTRs kinda backs up your age prediction. 👍
I would say it's quite depressing that some people are still stuck in that mindset that being faster in a slower car is grounds for throwing out all the obscenities and racism they can.

So yesterday I was in a drift room with my NSX (as normal) when a guy in a NASCAR came onto the track and started ramming everyone off. He then began to insult everyone. That fact that he was using the word "poo" can give you a rough idea of his age.

After this he sent me a message saying I can't drift and that real drivers use "proper" drift cars

So I sent "like your NASCAR then?"
30 seconds later "I know Jeff Gordon and he drifts with it"

And to top it off *you have been kicked*
Asked the host why and he said he "doesn't like the colour of my car" :banghead:
Why GT6. Just why.

There are jerks and idiots everywhere, the anonymity of being online brings out the worst in them. At least we get funny stories from it! :D

So I haven't been doing the rounds on GT6 as often, blame my upcoming exams.

But after 3 hours revision Yesterday, I decided to play some.

Joined a trackday at Mt. Panorama and got out my 120D. People were laughing and joking with me with stuff like "petrol is the way forward, C!" Which was all in a joking matter seeing as 3/4s were real life friends.

It carried on and two minutes later, they started leaving. I got a message asking "Why did the host kick us?" So I'd asked the host and he (I presume) said "Well, I hate to see a damsel in distress."

Waaaaa...? "You're a girl aren't you?" No. I'm not. "Oh."

*you have been kicked out*

I can only imagine he's a guy who runs around telling people he's been "friendzoned by muh Waifu" whilst weeping into his fedora...

Even if I was a girl (which I, with no doubt, am not) that isn't grounds to kick any person who says something to me in order to seem like a cliche white knight in the hope I'll go out with you...

So I enter into a drift lobby with my Corvette and I'm getting into some good tandem with some people. Mind you that I just enter the track and was on for about 2 minutes when the host put this in the chat:

Host: BRB
Just so you know DRIFT ARTZ, I really do hate you.

Me: Why? I just got on the track. What did I do to you

Host: Nothing, just know that I hate you.

Me: May I ask why?

He turns on his mic and starts cussing me out and accuse me of something that I never did. I asked him to elaborate on this "issues" to work it out but instead he kicked me out the lobby.

I sent him a message to see what did I do to him and he said "I just wanted to look bad:censored: in front of my friends. I still hate you you 🤬 sucking 🤬". I just laugh as it made no sense to me.

Well that's sinking to a new low, that's like standing on a rake and the end of the rake has a grenade taped to it.

If it was me, I would've told his friends that he made all that up and did it just to "big himself up". :mischievous:

I was but I didn't feel like dealing with it. Besides, I have better things to do:lol:

This is why I always host gentlemen. Preferably with someone else accompanying me.

So... I went to a cops' room on Monaco.

It was a pseudo-decent lobby, until I noticed that racecars were everywhere, cops were dull, and the host was a litle dictator: thanks to its 3/3 kick "system"...

Now - The story:

I got bored at the moment and I decided to get my McLaren F1 and went to the track. Suddenly, I saw someone with the pace car and decide to speed up.

He was chasing me, until he spun out and I outrun him...

... What happens next was a complete stupidity from his part: he decided to give me a ticket. Even he was FAR blarbly AWAY!

After that, he passed through me while I was try to launch my car and, instead of making me stop, he gave me a ticket for it too....

At the end, I complained about how dull the they were with the chases - sitting there like they are "something" - and the host kicked me..

Bloody hell...

Well, I was in a GT500 room yesterday, and we were in the middle of setting flying laps in practice. I nearly took off another racer, but didn't. Then the host adds a qualifying session, no big deal, but then the host thinks it would be fun to kick me for no reason. Host duly sends me out the door. Soon sent a PM to him asking why he kicked me, totally ignored me. Stupid idiot.

Timeline of events:
  • Joins room
  • Brings out an R35 GT500 car
    • Fine tuning setups
  • Goes to track
    • Goes back into settings
  • Back on track
    • Nearly clips another racer (said racer is driving a Honda HSV)
    • Host adds 5min. qualifying session
  • Leaves track
    • Considers bringing out a Keihin HSV
    • Changes GTR settings
  • You were kicked out.
  • GT6 ejected
  • Sends PM to host
  • Begins playing Minecraft instead

Join a Red Bull X2014 J lobby with a friend

Begin the qualifying, me and friend get a 1-2. 3rd belongs to a man which I shall nickname "Il stupido".

Come up to Eau Rouge at full speed. Me and friend wheel to wheel racing, getting exciting. I have more speed on straights, by about 7 mph so I pull away slightly. Come into the kink, friend just gets me under braking

Bang!

Il stupido hadn't used his brakes and took us out. We were in last place so battled through the field together, we got to 2-3 together and began the revenge sequence.

I pulled to the left of Il Stupido, friend to the right. We tightened and forced him into a sandwich, then I pull back and watch him spin off. Last lap and he's last.

Me and friend cross the line after a good last lap racing.

Il stupido: E21 (GO AWAY FOOL) and (friend) rammed me.
Me: give what you get. You didn't use your brakes on lap 1, and shunted both of us. We just got you back.
Friend: yeah, I mean it's not like you're without blame.
Il stupido: you're 100% to blame.
Host: alright. I'll end this

[you have been kicked out]

Send a message to host (who by the way was last in the race)

"I seen it it was all u and ur friend."

Fired up my alt account and rejoined. Turns out... They were friends.

Was in a 500pp room today and no matter what car I used ( I like to change each race ), I kept coming second, maybe 10 races with at least 8 in the room.
So I ran the Kubelwagen, that put an end to coming 2nd, I kept coming last till I was kicked lol.

No one likes to be beaten by a people's car.

;)

I was in a tune, drift, and cruise room today with one other person. On Sarthe, no chicanes. Wanted to test my Camero SS '00, and did have NOS. I know it was the dudes room, but block the NOS if you don't want people using it. He wanted to see if he could keep up in some Subaru (course he couldn't) before I even hit the NOS. Kicked me, so next time you don't want people using it, put in room description or block it. Or get smoked.

I was in a very quiet cruise lobby at Cote on Sunday night, so I went for the lap record as the host was just a ghost on track (I did a 1.31.0 in a 1,000BHP R35 on sports softs).

About 10 mins after I did that the host must of come alive and added a power limit and kicked me. I now understand why that lobby was very quiet, fussy host who must not like anyone. Very odd.

About a month ago, I took my newly purchased Alfa Stradale to an SSRX lobby for some high speed racing. I join and race a couple of times without problem. However, later on, someone goes a little too far and causes havoc on the first straight, which pushes me into the host. Said host proceeds to blame me for it all and kicks me out, without asking me to explain what happened. Sent him a PM, got no response. Mentally flipped him off, and moved on.
