Would Time Trials be better with friends/global times?

They'd also have to be specific to car/tune/tyres/aids, and they'd have to put more effort into having the correct penalties...

Like I say, I wouldn't mind it, provided there was personal leaderboards as well

It was great in Driveclub. Kept you going back to try to beat your friends times. Helped you improve your lap times in the process.

I hope PD institute global leaderboard times. I was surprised and a bit disappointed when I started doing time trials that they didn’t have them.

It's an epic fail really and yet another example of how PD really doesn't understand what fans want and fails to institute the most simple of features that allows for endless competition among peers and worldwide, and endless reasons to come back to the game.

Yes, it's a fail from PD.

Also, with changes to physics and grip, some records are unreachable atm (since last up cars are slower). There's no point in trying to go for a WR now.

On the other hand, it makes no sense to reset the leaderboards each time they change the physics / handling.

Do what Forza did in the past and give a leaderboard to hot lap on for each group and track.

We had the same thing in GT5 Prologue

Not limited to just friends. Any replay you download and save to your collection will show up for you to load as a ghost.

I've just tried this - saved a friends hot lap and saved to my collection. Can view it, but when I try and load it (load ghost) in time trial it just makes the noise as nothing is available. What could I be doing wrong??

I just tried it myself and it didn’t work either... I distinctly remember doing this before? I may be confusing it or something idk... sorry for getting your hopes up. Now we can say “Add Leaderboards and allow the use of their ghosts!”

I really hope they add global leaderboards soon. Also adding the ability to see friends from other regions. Absolutely perplexing that they would prevent us from seeing each other's times in Sport races.

They're more like test tracks at the moment. There's little incentive to do drift trials without friends/global leaderboards, seems a waste

Has anyone else resulted in using the circuit experience has TT board to compare times with friends?

This has resulted in me (first time ever) knowing my way round nordschleife

We been shaving 1 2sec off each others times for a month now and have gone from struggling to get under 7min to being disappointed with a high 6:3*

There is always some positives to be had from these kinda things

We've been doing the same. It's good but it would be better if you could switch cars in the same category to beat someone's time you're struggling with. Also with the new tracks

In today times, for everything you do, wherever you do it, there should be (detailed) leaderboards for it!

Specially for online only game.

It's "semi-online" that is pushing you hard!

I would say yes to having your friends times posted in the TT but a definite no to having a world TT leaderboard. To many cheaters out there to make a world leaderboard worth while.

Please add time trials,it was the main reason i played soo much gt6,now as it is gt sport cd just collects dust.

There should be a separate table for BOP times, it already distinguishes them with that little white dot, so it should not be hard to do.
