A GTP gathering like Deviant ART Summit if there was a gathering that Jordan and the moderators organized?

I'd love to go! But it would probably be a little too far away. IIRC this subject has been brought up before and Jordan said if it even did happen it would most likely take place in Kentucky, where he lives.

Well, there's a buttload of GTP members from the Toronto area and even more spread throughout Ontario. A mini-meetup between us shouldn't be impossible.

I know this has been brought up but it's been a long time. So maybe opinions have changed.

Granturismo.com used to do this on a regular occasion. Many people would drive long hours to hang out at one house and they'd iLink a few PS2's up and race all day long, and long into the night.

I'd make the trip.

Seriously? Where is it held, and who attends it? Why didn't I know? Where is Jimmy Hoffa's briefcase?

if there was one, and i was able to go, i would with my good friend here at GTPlanet, Bee. And of course there would be multiple racing stations with DFPs and GT4.......:D

Hmm, there seems to be quite a lot of GTP'ers in the UK. Can anyone give me a link for the UK meet up thread?

I'd go if i knew that some of the younger members were going. That or people i know well.

If it was held in the US, i'd probably not be able to come. If i could, it would probably have to fit in with me visiting some relatives who live in Arkansas, which probably won't happen.

I'll try and convince Ashley or James to go to the UK one with me

US Meets would be split into regions. We can't just have one state and say "HEY YOU ALL NEED TO COME HERE!"
Northeast, Southeast, etc.

So they can hold your hand? :p

I'd be in more of a position to attend one if I had my own transport. But that's a few years away.

*Lame rip off of FPS Doug* "I've heard that IRL there's no edit button"

Ha ha, i just don't wanna be the only non adult.

I'd try, but it depends upon my parents decisions really. I got no transport, so they'd have to agree to take me.

First three were in Wycombe. Most recent one was in Sheffield. Next one I think is in Newark (no... Nottinghamshire, not New Jersey).

Jon. - you wouldn't have been. Ashley WAS coming to the last one, but had his timetable buggered at the last minute.

Oh cool. Newark is cool for me - i have relatives in the area (Southwell), so that would fit in nicely.

Me and G.T are debating how either of us would get there.

I visit Toronto every couple of years so I'll probably try to meet up with a couple of the guys next time I'm there.

As for the UK ones, I wouldn't be able to withstand the sheep jokes unless Evan was there to defend me with his karate skillz.

I'm also rubbish at Gran Turismo. :)

Well, if I'm not hosting this one, which I'm not, I can pick you up on the way past.

I hear they have trains up north now though.

Jon, your parents may have already told you this but don't get into the car with the man from the internet.

Even if he does offer you sweets.
