An E60 won't work well with a manual since you can't off the DSC and the shifter is springy. Plus the V10s torque band suits the SMG better. So E39 is the only way for manual lovers IMO.
 
Lamborghini Veneno Vs. Lamborghini Egoista

Hmm, I like Lamborghini, but I don't really like either. I think the Veneno looks like a bunch of sharp kitchen utensils stacked on top one another, but at least that design is functional. Well, it's supposed to, anyway. I don't know about the Egoista, whether or not the design is functional or not, but it's pretty awful looking. Especially the front, was it in an accident or something? It probably would look considerably better without that gross orange accenting. I still love V10s though, so I'll choose... the Sesto Elemento! :dopey:

If I can't have that then I guess the Veneno. :/

Alpina B9 Vs. BMW 2002

I think Alpinas are cool, but I really like the 2002, so I'll take that one.

E39 Vs. E60

Closer than the E60 Vs. F10 a couple pages back, but I'd still take the E39.

Agreed, I'd love to own an F10 M5 if I could, but it would have to be with DCT, just like the E60 would have to be with SMG. Hell, the E9X M3 was on the verge of being DCT>MT clearly but that can still pull off a manual since it's not as heavy as the 5s but it definitely benefits from a better knob and maybe a firmer clutch.
 
Lambo Verano vs. Sci-Fi Lambo: Hmmmm.... I'll take the Verano, because it gives me a idea what if Lamborghini got into racing... The car's outrageous body design is fully aerodynamic and it looks alright, except for the front. I like the Science fiction Lambo only for the one seater cockpit, and the rest of the car is hideous to me.

Alpina E28 vs. 2002: Toughie here, oh heck, give me BOTH Bimmers! :D

E39 M5 vs. E60 M5: This one is pulling my hairs out, I'll take them both. But I'll get the E39 some aftermarket parts first, and sitting on some HRE 549s.

Why? Because ///M, Alpina, AC-Scinzer and HRE. ;)

^ Why should I bother these two? They're both too rare to flog around, too wacky to show up anywhere you go, & they're BOTH overpriced even if they made less than 20! It Sesto Elemento all over again!!! I'm sorry, I don't see the fun of driving both of these Lambo's, I'd rather get 5 LP550-2 than getting any of these two. So its NONE of them!

^ Easy, the 2002. Why? Because manual. Who cares if its not original, it's better to hoon it around compared to the museum piece on which is the E28. And the Alpina is an A/T so its A/Tomatic fail for me...

Veneno vs Egoista: I'll take the Veneno as looks so extreme for a road car. The Egoista would be as useful as the BAC Mono.

Alpina B9 vs BMW 2002: I'd go with the 2002 because it's small, light, nible and would be hugely enjoyable.

M5 E39 vs M5 E60: E60, simply because it has a V10 and that magical M button.
 
CL65 VS Continental Supersports

I've always found the old W140 S-Class Coupe to be a pretty neat looking car, but then as soon as it switched to the CL name plate, it got bland and lost a lot of its coolness for some reason. The second generation looked overstretched and awkward, but then the current generation just looks bland. It has a great interior, but it just doesn't have the appeal of an S-Class. The Continental, despite how common it may be is still more special.

E60 VS F10

Neither are my favorite generation of 5, particularly the E60. I sat in an early E60, a 525i, once and was pretty unimpressed. The materials felt hard and plasticy, and the interior design was a bit ugly. The F10 isn't my favorite either, but at least it's more comfortable and quiet than an E60, and looks a lot nicer. Plus I hear the F10 isn't that fun to drive, so who cares if most aren't manuals. I'm not a stick shift snob.

Beat VS Cappuccino VS AZ-1

The AZ-1 is overrated, the Cappuccino is meh, but the Beat is kind of neat. That rhymed. I'll take the neat Beat.

Ram VS Humvee

The Hummer. The Ram looks like it was a hack job, probably because it was.

Veneno VS Egoista

Neither, they're ugly!

E39 VS E60

The E39 is one of my favorite Fives, and the E60 isn't. The E39 has a V8 which is more appealing to me. It looks classier and has a better interior. It also sounds better, really.

A3 VS Mini Cooper S John Cooper Works of Awesome

Minis are fun to drive, look awesome, and handle great. The Audi is almost certainly more comfortable and probably sounds better (seriously, the Countryman S I drove sounded pretty bland) and is definitely more practical. But the Mini is a Mini, and I like Minis, so yeah.

I'm taking the 997. The GTR will probably still eat it on and off a road course (even though some modding of the 997 could help) but the deciding factor here is how much I like the look of the 997 over the GTR plus the manual transmission. The 997 will probably still have superbike killing abilities and look damn sleek doing it, plus it will be more unique at least where I live where it's become GTR-land.

^ I pick neither of them, as they both tend to become the over-priced status vehicles. Sure the JCW could be a hoot to drive and the Audi is cozier/livable hatch. But for that ridiculous price tag? I'd wait for the Mk.VII GTI (performance pack [aka. 230hp], of course). If not, either the Mk.VI GTI or a Focus ST will fit the bill just fine literaly!

^ This is an easy answer for me. At the moment, I really don't give a damn on the whole 991 range since all Turbo's, GT3's, & possibly GT2's are PDKs. The GT-R on the other hand, while it does give fear to those who challenges it. I really just don't see myself in it, regardless on how STUPIDAWESOMEOMFGEPICBADASSERYPUNKPLAYA it is! So my pick is the 997, even if it is the Ver.1 (a Ver.2 Turbo S would be even more epic!). Aside from adding the AMS kit, there is not much for me to add to the 911. And its the only one here with a M/T too! :)
 
A3 vs Mini JCW: Audi, easily.

GT-R vs 997 Turbo vs 991 Turbo: Neither, I'd be on my way to the Nissan dealer then I'd veer straight off and buy an Audi R8.
 
GTR R35 with AMS mods vs. 911 Turbo 997 with AMS mods vs. 991 Turbo: Ugh, tough one here, but I'll take BOTH the R35 and the 997 with AMS mods!

Now, I need a modified ZR1 or a ACR for the R35 and 997 T. :trouble:👍
 
GT-R vs 997 Turbo vs 991 Turbo

If I had to choose one of these, I'd get the GT-R. If I had the option of getting a different car, however; I would get a Corvette ZR1.
 
Mini vs audi I'll probably take the mini, gtr vs 911 I think the GTR is a bit more practical than the 911 so I'll take the gtr.
 
Nice car selection Motortrend, without a doubt I'd eliminate the 155K 911, then choose between the modified GTR and modified 997. With cars as fast as these, I know I'd be participating in standing mile events, drag racing, and roll racing. Although I love driving manual transmission cars, I think I'd be able to have more consistent times with the GTR. My only concern with the GTR would be durability of the transmission at over 900hp.
