Robert Kubica has been pulled over by police on the way back to service - his electrical short killed his lights.

Its weird seeing Loebs car without a 1 next to it, been over 11 years since this last happened.
 
I don't know what VW were complaining about by having Loeb start 14th so he gets a swept road, the tarmac parts would be even worse with all the gravel swept onto the track.

They were complaining at the possibility of him returning for gravel rallies later in the year, although that is only an advantage if there is enough wind to clear the dust.
 
Kubica won a stage earlier.

Loeb picks wrong tyres for stage. Still fastest :lol:

I have no sympathy. Citroën only hired him for the marketing purposes, and because their WRC campaign stagnated last year while they focused on the WTCC. They were expecting to win rallies, and it didn't happen.

If Loeb crashed and cannot win, then Citroën got what they deserved.

It's harsh, but it's a harsh truth.
 
The first of today's stages has been cancelled - there are too many spectators.

The ACM really need to find a way to address this problem. This is the third or fourth year in a row that a stage has been cancelled due to congestion.

In this case it's a simple solution, yet again this is the only day with one stage being ran twice. Of course all the spectators are going to go to that one!
 
Kubica has just set an absolutely incredible time through SS10, almost 2 minutes faster than Ogier :O
