Casio : I hope that you started to practise in either the Räzo or the MR-S on Sears Point, because your win this week deserves a promotion to div 1.
I've disqualified so many of your wins for the only reason that you couldn't provide a replay that I'm more than happy to move you up one division this week.
Big congrats, you're only the second racer to reach div 1 after having qualified in div 3 ! (shockwaveracing was the first one).

Thanks Flat-O! It's always been the dream. Now if I can make it into the next BC, I'll be more then happy with what I've been working at for the past 8 months.

I do find it somewhat ironic that I finally got promoted on a GT Mode round, you all know how much I usually hate it, I've never placed higher then 3rd in one and that was way back when I was in division 3.

Although, now that I'm in D1 (replay check pending of course) I might have to start using manual more :nervous:.

I've been pretty lazy last week, and here are 3 new racers who just joined us : JTSnooks and 0600Zulu in division 2, Empedocles99 in division 3.
appie17 who voted on many recent polls is also interested in joining us, and he's busy taming the M3.

Welcome mates 👍

well i am a bit chuffed now that i know that i was the first person to manage that... :)
no one ever alerted me to the fact that i had achieved that feat...

I would also like to join when I get back to England in April (when I also get my hands on GT4). Can anyone PM medetails of what to do coz I am too lazy to go through all the thread. hahahaha

ferrari_chris joins div2 with a pretty fast time 👍
I guess that makes me driver 409 then?

I've got just under 24hrs before my time for this week needs to be in, so hopefully I can put in a couple of hours tonight and see how I go. A more drawn-out, concentrated effort next week though when I have more time I think. 👍

Glad to be here and looking forward to the upcoming racing. :)

CoolGeekz from the drifters forum just joins division 2. Hey, drifters can drive fast too ;)
Welcome on board 👍

Laurence5905 and daddy-o both join the top of div 3 with pretty similar times (less than 0.1 between them). I hope you didn't wait for my reply to jump into your cars and start practising :D

Famine
*hammers on door*

Let me in!

Are you in such a hurry ?
OK, welcome to div 1, Famine
I'll add your name to the list and send you the official PM as soon as I'll have entered your time in my spreadsheet. But you're div 1 anyway, don't need a spreadsheet to tell me that.
You can jump in your favorite Speed 12 and race around la Sarthe. ;)

Nice to see an old-timer back to the WRS.

Have you only just signed up for this now Famine? I'd have thought a guy like you would have been here a long time ago?

Either way, I'm not surprised you're Division 1. Good luck, and I look forward to seeing your times. Have you got enough time to put in appearance at Le Sarthe this week?

:)

Helo all, i want to join this league but first i need to know whether it would suit me. Currently i am interested in finiding the times of people who specialise in ss route 5. I specialise in ff route 5 ( both wet and dry, forward and reverse) in a 380hp trueno gt apex ss version in GT3. So bascially, can i find others like me to race here? Or am i altogether in the wrong location?

btw can somebody give me the lowdown? i am new to all of this and how do i get accessed and what do i do?

Uh, probably click on the weekly race series forum, and start looking at the threads specifically for you... ;)

As Kyle suggested, the FAQ thread and others might answer your questions.
Plus, take a look at this week's (46) race : it is purely coincidental but you seem to be a lucky guy

I have been reading these boards for over a year now and have been amazed and impressed at how helpful this community is.

It's time I get off the bench and participate. Please add me to the list of interested racers.

Here's to hoping I can at least be competitive!!

Welcome to the WRS. I'm expecting your time in the M3 so that you can be placed in a division

question...do I need to be placed in a division before I can run the current weekly?
I'd say just start racing.

You'll likely be placed in a division before the times are due on Tuesday anyway.

Welcome aboard, and good luck. :)

3 new drivers joined this week : zdenko in div 1, DrifterYamez in div 2 and phantompower in div 3. Welcome to all 3 of you, and thanks Chris for having answered the question while I was offline.

Hi!

I'm kind of making a comeback in the GT4 and also the WRS. It's been a long time since I've raced here and I wondered if I have to redo the Qualifier Race to be able to race here again (in Division 3, just like before).

Thank you

Welcome back, it's been a long time indeed.
You don't need to run the Qualifier again : you stay in the division you were in last time you raced.

Yes! Welcome back for sure! I'll plan on seeing you up there with me in D2 soon... 👍

Yeah welcome back mkay, I remember in one of my first weeks you and I had super close lap times. Good luck man 👍

2 new drivers in div 2 : valdleik and GT Pro. We're now 420 registered drivers 👍
