My latest win was with the Mitsubishi 3000 GT, with a build/tune meant for the WTC 600 at Tokyo Expressway. I made a 15:43 time and it was the closest margin of victory so far because Haywood came second and Sasaki came third, at 1.2 and 1.8 seconds back, respectively. Normal difficulty.

That was tight. Lambo got 2nd due to my blocking along the long straight

Grello got it done on Normal difficulty. I got by Sasaki after Flugplatz and tried to put as much time as possible until the Dottinger Hohe and hold on.

Finally i bust the 14's on Code red.
No CRB and try to minimise mistakes which for me is unavoidable in that case.

The tune i use , it's not so fast at top speed but seems more steady in my shaking hands😂 .
In fact contents everything plus the use of high rpm turbo which spins less the tyres than med rpm .
Am dead sure that someone else more experience guy with the track and tuning can do a lot better.
Sorry for my Greek page but that's all i had 🥴
Tyres are RM .
What need extra " care " is the gearbox settings and in general is a very broken tune with this car .
You will realise that changing things that have way less impact at pp than what it should be .
And forget RS tyres at 600pp with this .

I really don't know what happened to you lately.....
From the top secret settings, you pass to the other side and you share everything!!!!!
If your times wasn't so bloody fast , i could easily though that someone else hack your account 🤣
I don't know if we talk about a miracle here but just in case I'll do the appropriate moves ...

I do tend to share. But not everything...

It's been mentioned before here so I just repeat ... The Boss is boss ! ... and made my day. I'm aware it tends to be one of the PP outlier cars but anyway, it's been a hell of a run. Felt great being able to do it cleanly. I had hoped to get somehow close to the 14 min total and a 7 min fast lap and it worked.

Is it lese-majeste saying the Xiaomi held me up at Pflanzgarten 2 ?

Did you use the stock transmission?

I think I'll see if I can clear this race using my swapped Honda S800. Under its current settings, it doesn't even have 250 HP, but it's got amazing acceleration while being one of the lightest tuned cars that I have, so I think the Nordschleife could be great for it.

I took my favorite low horsepower runner for a spin around the Ring. The RBJ, I have a couple of them and this one is the low Hp specialist at 118 Hp due to completely worn oil. Managed a top three on HARD, with a top speed of 215 kph I wasn't able to hold off all of them down the final straight.

For those who " struggle " with the track and want a safe and pleasant journey at Green hell , Smoothbore Express might be your choice.

Doesn't afraid of the Kerbs, grass or whatever, can straight everything and forgive mistakes.
It's my Blue version on RH tyres .

From the second page has only racing brakes and Racing crankshaft.
Also has racing silencer but i don't remember if it comes as packet with the car or is add-on.

Beat it with my Porsche GT4RS build:

Since there's no tyre wear in this race you can also try the Sport Soft tune. A bit less power but the handling and traction with the softs makes up for that.

Though I had some worries -- starting 30 seconds behind the leader and said leader car being waaaaaay over 600pp -- this is the most fair of the WTC600 races.

Because of the race length, and the slow cornering speeds of the AI, anything that can reach 600pp can win (as we have seen with 550pp builds and the kart).

Since there is no tire wear, front wheel drive and heavy cars are more viable. Since there is no rain, and again, no tire wear, Racing Tire builds are also quite strong.

Even top speed is not a big concern, because you can make up A LOT of time in the corners.

Here are my teet runs (I need to write this down now, otherwise I will just keep testing and testing...)

Celica GT-FOUR Rally Car
Oh how the mighty have fallen. This used to be strong Tokyo grind contender, making 700+hp on Sports Hard tires. Now you have only ~500hp to work with. Top speed was a disappointing ~170mph / 274kph.

- Handles slightly worse because I did not paint it green

Citroen DS 21 (No Swap)
A hero car for me that I would daily drive in real life.

Physics changes have made the car unpredictable under big compressions. Though it rotates alarmingly well in high speed corners; when I went over the limit, the nose would point the correct way around the corner, but car wouldn't actually go toward the apex.

  • Slow on the straightaways
  • Reasonably quick through the corners
  • Settings need to be tweaked... again

Abarth 595 Swapped and Cursed
Never ask how much time I have put into this car...

Physics update made an already finicky car worse. There is now a narrow range of Spring Rates and Camber settings that are viable, because physics updates made the car more prone to oversteer, more sensitive to bumps, and the updates brought back the risk of roll-overs.

  • Top speed is hilarious, but still not as fast as the SU7
  • Acceleration is terrifying
  • Braking distances are... good luck (see below point)
  • DO NOT press the accelerator at the start of the race - the power surge will lift the front end and you do not have enough room to slow down
  • You must constantly be on and off throttle because the crazy power lifts the front wheels
  • It's less of a car and more a projectile
  • BONUS: See how the game slows you down at the end of the race (Spoiler: it doesn't)

A110 '72 (No swap)
My beloved 600pp bully. And of course, I forget to copy the settings in this data dump.

  • Crazy light weight
  • Low power
  • PP weirdness allows for Racing Soft tires
  • Mediocre acceleration
  • But surprising top speed
  • Potential severely limited by lack of front downforce
  • Lack of front downforce must be compensated for in high speed corners - the chassis is willing to turn in, but pushes back in high speed corners

A110 - Results.webp

Alphard V10!!
Dominant in the corners, but it needs to be, because it suffers the wrath of Huayra, the God of Wind, on the straightaways.

  • Some push / understeer if you get on the power super early
  • Get on the power slightly later to take advantage of the turn-in
  • People will hear your approach from 3 sectors away

CODE GREEN - Civic Touring Car Swapped
@smoothbore12 Why did PD let us get away with this?

If you are familiar with the Drift Car V8 swaps, the Ford Mustang Boss 302, the V8 Miata... This is the 4 cylinder version.

  • 600hp front wheel drive, LOL
  • 600hp front wheel drive is not as bad as you think
  • You still need to manage the throttle below 80mph / 129kph, because 600hp front wheel drive
  • Some oversteer on corner entry because there is no weight over the rear wheels
  • That oversteer makes me smile
  • This is a shakedown tune; you may die
  • Not getting 6:49.9999999 makes me sad

Kangoo?!!
Underestamate the Delivery Van and your peril

When you spend way too much money on the Kangoo, what you get is a high center of gravity touring car. You have absolutely no top speed, and you absolute crush everything in the corners. Especially the high speed corners.

Oversteer at the very end of the braking phase if you overdo it.

Volvo 240: V8 Turbo Brick
@ROCKET JOE 's V8 Tour Bus is the superior platform.

  • 1000hp at 600pp
  • Turbo lag
  • Mid Engine weight distribution...
  • Rear engine lift off oversteer if you trail brake too long and are off throttle too long
  • Brakes? No
  • Handles slightly worse because I did not paint it green
  • Please apply the throttle responsibly

Firebird Greenbird Trans Am
I spent all my money to make it go around corners quickly.

  • +10000000 coolness because Firebird Tran Am
  • Muscle and Pony cars become some of the best handling FR drivetrain cars in GT7 when tuned
  • Disappointing lack of power because PP system
  • Wonderful balance that rewards textbook FR driving techniques
  • Stiff entry in high speed corners because no front downforce (why PD?!!)
  • +10000000 coolness because the engine note is glorious

On normal difficulty, just messing around with a "cosplayed" GT86. Caught up to the SU7 on the just a couple corners before the final straight but he passed me again effortlessly during the fnal straight. I just barely passed him and the Huracan again at the final chicane.

On easy difficulty I think I would have passed all of the grid on the start of the 2nd lap.

I think I'm going to try hard difficulty tomorrow but I don't have much hope using this car on hard.

On hard level you must be around 15.10- 15.15 to win .
Of course the AI adapt to your pace, depends on the car you use and how fast you're going.
That's why we see times way under 15's when someone is very fast ,but with slower pace the limit is at 15.10+ - .
At least that's what i face driving cars with lap tmes a little above 7.30's.
