When you want to play a different game but can't.
When you wreck your clutch because nothing is telling you what gear to be in.
When you drive a car into a garage to re-build the engine and expect to drive back out when there doesn't seem to be any method of turning the car round within the garage.

This happened to me the other week. I just got into my car in a parking lot, and a nice car pulled in front of me. I didn't know what it was, so I looked at the front license plate only to realize that in real life people don't have their car name written on their license plate.

You know you have played GT5 too much when ou get the sudden urge to pee, but you have to finish your race, which then turns into 2 races, then 3, then 4, then 5, you get the picture..

When you decide to catch someone's "draft" on the highway, I was doing 80 MPH or so on a 65 MPH limit road, of course, wasn't pulled over, and was in a BMW 318is E36. Not too extreme though.

You try to take the apex at higher-than-normal speeds on most corners during your daily commute, especially freeway on-ramps and residential areas with smooth turns.

You start talking to your girlfriend/wife about your new FGT you spent 2,500,000Cr. on, and she hasnt got a bloody clue what your on about! :L

When you do this at work:

When you are so addicted and desperated for an update that you buy TDU2 in search for some fun while waits for the GT-5
update...

... when I can't be inside my car IRL because the 206 S16 is a standard car and no interior view.
... when you watch a real race and you complain about the driver's racing lines
... when you press X on your Dualshock wondering if your car will run.
... when someone says he likes Autumn and it's Summer, you say "Go to Autumn Ring!"
... when someone talks about Motegi, you say "It's missing!"
... when you overtake another car in real life using the inside line.
... when, another car is running very slow, you shout "Stupid AI!"

You have over 100 RX-7 FDs in your garage, but you're too busy racing reliable ones in-game to fix the broken one in your garage. *I'm sooo guilty of this one*

You use professional racing techniques to overtake the old lady that just cut you off, haha.

...when a person walks by, u look at him and ask yourself "actually were the same model, what is his gear ratio?"...
...when u see someone walking in front of u and u start walking the ideal line to shorten the distance and dont lose any speed in the "coners"...happens almost every day when i walk home from the trainstation...honestely

...i see an Audi S4 on the streets and say, oh thats a standard car

Chris

Every time i get outside and walk towards my car, i think exactly the same! My 2000 Audi A4 B5 (no S4 though) is in the game and i have 7 different versions of it, including one, thats tuned to the specs of my own car and colored in a color similar to melange metallic.

How i wish it was premium.... Every time i fire up the game and take a look into my garage, iam disappointed that the 1998 S4 is so badly modeled. Even among standards it looks weird, i guess its a GT3 model. I know, all the models are said to be from GT4, but they vary in quality. The Audi S4 B6 looks much better for example, even the RS4 B5 looks better.

I still keep on playing GT5 and i even drive standard cars most of the time, since most of my favourite cars are standard. While in motion, those standards look ok (especially in replays).

Well I accidentally left the lights on in my car, and it made a kinda bong noise, and I'm like, "hmmm..... never heard this before, must've been an update" :D

When driving my Golf IV thinking "hmm this FFB is not so good, this wheel is too loose, it feels like there is no FFB at all, not so realistic."

When your S.O. decides to buy GT5 for their PS3 and get good at it to try and get your attention back...

Although I personally never have this problem :sly:

When you're considering buying Black Ops again to solve the boredom of GT5 >_< and I swore never to play Boredom Ops ever again after I sold it
