When I visit GTP every single day. Seriously every single day. A total post of 2,503 after 2 years is like an average of 1,300 post a year and to me, that's already a lot!

I've seen so many other fellow forumers with a life of 2 years and already had throusands. But I definitely prefer quality over quantity.

^ I have been registered for 2 years, but started actually posting last January. I had like 10 posts before I started really posting. Also I visit this every day like other people. Nice M5 avatar by the way.

You know you've been on GTP too long when you dream about something involving this forum. (I think someone said this...)

You know you've been on GTP too long when you get bored instantly when you log off. Happens to me a lot.

Sorry for this off-topic post but what can I say though. Thanks for the compliment mate :)

The avatar was edited by Danny, the reason is because I'm very 'ameture' in image editing so thanks to him otherwise I wouldn't be having that beauty

I have 1318 after almost 2 years you postwhore. :p

I know I've been using GTP too long, because I know exactly why the first recorded ban was issued.
What can I say? I like reading the banned user log. :D

When you take a month-long hiatus because you're visiting too many forums. I can't keep up with all of mine.

When you've got about 100+images you've edited to be GTP-AUP friendly....even when it's meant for another site.

Also, when the thing you're most worried about leaving behind when you leave for 8 weeks of boot-camp is GTP.....bar family and friends.

I too miss my internet connection on vacations or whatever takes a long time. I need my daily GTP fix.

Unbelievably, on page 2 there's a Youtube video of a guy pretending to be me.

Of course... They should have never mentioned thy sacred name!
They should have said "So, Mr. Indigo what do you think about GT5?"...
But maybe it was Jack Bauer pretending to be you! :)

When you know the real name of the GT5 car wash song.

I don't have the game and I know the name of the song. And I'm not into classical music as much as winning. And why would they have "The Entertainer" as the GT Auto song?

Answer: It's entertaining.

When more people know you by your username than those who don't. (in my case "Fryz")

When you have plenty of things to state in the threads, or incline to check out if you have received new visitor messages from other users or friendship requests each day.

- When you've finished perusing all of the sub-forums here, and then decide to go on to the next forum or whatever...so you open you speed dial and even though you've just closed it, you immediately click on GTP, and only after a while do you realize "wait...I was just on here...", and when you do, you don't care. :D
- Whenever you see a GTP anywhere, like IMSA GTP or Pontiax Grand Prix GTP, your brain immediately thinks GTPlanet, not Gran Turismo Prototype or whatever it stands for.
- When you've used the Wayback Machine to see what GTP used to look like...more than once.
- When you talk about Famine in everyday conversation to people who have no idea who or what you're talking about.

When you try to quote or use smilies on facebook, you try to get your buddies to join, and when they say maybe you try to persuade them by using GTP Members awesome quotes. And when you forget that the forum is about Gran Turismo, and spend most of the time in the Rumble Strip. When you have more visitor messages than forum posts (almost). I could go further...

When you feel guilty after not being on here for a week because your on holiday.

When you work so hard to establish a connection in a Washington DC hotel that doesn't have Wi-Fi, just so you can check it. :indiff:

When you spend more time on GTP than Facebook.

You start typing text messages to friends sounding like a scholar from Harvard with over detailed wording and what not.
