It appears my issue has to do with the internet conectivity of the game right now sony is having issues with server so the game is lagging causing it to look like it's the frozen and also I've lost a few cars trying to transfer them. Very weak

I read somewhere earlier in the thread though, that if the pop-up where it says "upload failed", you shouldn't press okay or anything, just quit the entire game, reset your PS3, and it should be in your garage still. Sadly I was so excited for getting the Miura that I was pressing the buttons to quickly

I'm actually wondering if them seeing this happen is what caused them to cave on backing up the save file. Either way, I'm glad we'll be able to do that because even doing it this way is quite time consuming!

yes I am cheating myself because I don't have time to grind for the cash to buy the cars I want, I have a job, wife and kids, I can only play a few hours a week. So doing this cheat one night for several hours lets me get cars I want or gives me cash faster to get them. I am not cheating other players or myself, I am fixing the flaws in GT5 of stuff costing too much and race winnings being too small. I want to buy a BMW M3, M Coupe, and Mercedes C63 early in the game when they are available, how can you do that without racing the same damn races over and over again for $6K prize?

I have to agree wholeheartedly with Aumakua. I don't mind grinding for a 1 or 2 million credit car but 20? Eff that, that's just ridiculous.
No one's taking supreme advantage over others in online races, or making a career out of this (except for PD and Sony); relax it's JUST A GAME.

The only nice car I came across was the Scuderia, but if you want that it might be faster to just get a couple of the '44 VW's to sell, then buy it from the dealership; that will probably take less time (it will only take ~4 tries, and you get to pick your color).

For all UK users trying to do the 2010 Gift ticket, a Hong Kong PSN account allows you to add a child and does not require a credit card either. The plus with Hong Kong is you can select English as the language.

So set up a main Hong Kong ID and then add loads of Sub accounts for the years you want.

Looks like 2008 isn't really worth the effort, unless you want WRC cars. Out of 30+ tries, I got 11 WRC/rally cars. The rest of the list isn't that impressive either, and due to the large number of '08 cars, trying for a specific car will likely take some luck or lots of tries. I have been grinding 2002, maybe 25+ tries, for a Enzo with no luck. The only thing noteworthy is a R34, extremely disappointing. Mostly getting like 4 cy Mazdas, renalt's, few hondas, Yaris's... very crappy cars.


BTW, I have a 787B from 1991 (or 92') will trade for an Enzo.

Nope '42 VW cannot be sold.

For people trying to use this to make money, you can try doing '66. I did it 9 times and got the AC Cars 427 S/C six times. That car sells for 126,960Cr, so even without counting the value of the other cars obtained, that amounts to 84,640Cr per try (if you add in the sale price of the 2 other cheap cars I got, it comes to ~87,750Cr per try). You also sometimes get the Jaguar XJ13 Race Car '66 which costs 20,000,000Cr in the dealership (you can't sell it though).
