Exploting this feels a bit bad I think. Haven't done it yet, though I'm thinking of doing it tomorrow.
I just feel like a complete idiot if I really did spend 20 mils on a car that you could get easily for free. The only one you would ever get in the game is the XJ from 67, as it's the prize for the Indy 500 race at lvl 28.

i think the XJ13 is from '66 ... if thats the car you are referring too
 
1991 is proving to be a major pain. all hat ever pops up is rx-7. some lexus, a silvia and NO DAMN 787!!!!! This random car algorithm sucks!

It was my 17th birthday yesterday but I put my dads birth year an I got a 1965 shelby mustang. Pretty nice present I think...

Ferrari P4, yes.

What's the XJ16? Do you mean Jaguar XJ13 Race Car '66? If so, yes to that one too.

Tried a 1967 account and keep getting N360s, 2D cars and old skylines.

Not to worry though, I'll get them the normal way. Got sick of the menus and reloading the game etc.
 
I'm using my father's birthday, 1954. That ain't bad, since that's the C1 Corvette, the Mercedes 300SL, or the... Citroen 2CV...

But I think the best year is 1967. Lambo Miura, Ferrari P4, Ford MkIV, and Chaparral 2D are all 1967 cars.

I wonder what happens though if there are no cars for your year. There are no 1975 cars, and before 1960, there are only cars from '42 '44 '49 '54 and '58. Think of the old people, PD!

make sure you have chat enabled for the sub account, it wont sign online and give you a free car if you dont...

Well, in fact, I have 3 Oreca version and 2 of the other one. I was aiming for the LFA, and got like 7 908 along the way...

I'm just in the middle of this very interesting grind.

Doing '67 at the moment, have you guys been sending the museum cards to yourself too? I have you get five new ones every time. Plus after spending the start money on a car I've been buying parts for tuning and sending those too. Racking up over 15 items per go.
 
Man, I really didn't wanna do this, but I don't see how you can get the cars you want to have for months, if not years of playing and wealth accumulation. So I gave in and decided to gift myself several tickets for '67 and '89 - trying to get an elusive uber fast race car for 'Like the wind' and also one or more of the three 20 mill cars from 1967.

Anyhow, I've managed to pick up the P4, Miura and R89C - going to try for the Toyota 7 and then park this insanity for good!

I think this would have been a great feature, were it not for the fact that getting the cars you actually NEED is almost impossible! PD brought the 'abuse' of it firmly on themselves!

Right, time for some R89, closed-wheel action :)
