My first attempt at watercooling the PC...

I should get mine tomorrow, so I'll let you know how it copes with the FX-53 later this week...

Reserator Linkage...

Niiice setup man. If you're worried about leaks, get something called Fluid-XP. It's a bit pricey but it's totally non-conductive.

Also, if you're using the Zalmann cooler, keep in mind that it's fanless setup is powerful enough only for the CPU. Adding components will hike up the temperatures like mad. Also, don't don't expect to be able to do mad overclocking unless you get another radiator with fans on it.

I hope you don't have an "accident" and ruin that FX-53! :scared: I'd be scared to have 2 and a half liters of water running through my system if I had an FX-53!
That WOULD suck - But I hope I can figure out how to put it together properly ;)

Bah!... Conductive Schmucktive ;)

I know... So it'll be strictly for CPU use.. Besides - Zalmans GFX heads are useless. It's just an aluminium block with a hole straight through. Not obstructions to get the water whirled... Bunch of tards designed those...

Let us know how it goes, and take lots of pics of the process if you can. A local computer supply shop that I frequent had a computer with water cooling, and it was running warmer than what a standard HS would have done. I haven't made the water cooling band wagon jump yet, but I'm sure eventually it will come to that....

Cheers, and good luck!
