GRID: Autosport Races Onto Xbox One Backwards Compatability

The ever growing list of backwards compatible games on Xbox One has received another racing title among its ranks. Following on from Burnout Revenge, gamers can now get their hands on GRID: Autosport.

Codemasters released Autosport in 2014 as the third title in the GRID series for Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. As the sequel to the polarising GRID 2, Autosport worked to address the flaws of the previous game.

The biggest change was the reintroduction of the cockpit camera view, after it was controversially dropped in GRID 2.

Players have access to a vast career mode, with disciplines varying from touring cars, to GT racers and single seaters. There is also an expansive track list, with 100 routes spanning across 22 locations.

Codies also tweaked the physics, retaining a balance between simulation and arcade.

Players returning to the game will also have access to several multiplayer modes, including forming Clubs with and weekly RaceNet challenges.

If you have a copy of Autosport, you can simply slot the disc into your Xbox One console. For those players that don’t, then the game is now available for on the Xbox Store for $24.99/£19.99.

For players eager for more Codemasters games, we recommend checking out its latest offering, ONRUSH.
