Isle of Man TT

At the start of the month, Prodrive set an incredible new track record on the Isle of Man TT course. The record was set by the daunting 600BHP Subaru Impreza WRX STI, coming in at 17:35.139 on the 37 mile course. It’s a run that Subaru and Mark are both incredibly proud of, and now thanks to the official Subaru Youtube channel you can watch the run in all of its awesome entirety.

Located between Great Britain and Ireland, the small Isle of Man annually hosts one of the most dangerous and thrilling motorcycle events in the world: The International Isle of Man Tourist Trophy Race. Although the race is entirely devoted to motorcycles, for the last several years Subaru has been coming to the course in order to challenge the four-wheel lap record. Their latest entry saw a significant improvement, beating the 2014 record by more than 100 seconds!

A “team of programmers from Sony Computer Entertainment Europe” are reportedly on the Isle of Man, studying the famous TT Race circuit which stretches over 37.73 miles across public roads on the island.
