This Week’s Forza Horizon 4 Seasonal Events Turn the UK Into a Winter Wonderland

The seasons are a-changing once more as the cold winds of winter set in Forza Horizon 4. With it comes an all-new week’s worth of content for players to explore amidst the frigid weather.

Winter brings about slippery conditions and abundant snow showers, so come prepared. Expect to bring out your best four-wheel drive monster(s) this week — you’ll need the grip.

Below, you’ll find everything this week has to offer.

New Events

There are three new championship events for festival-goers to take part in. As always, prizes are up for grabs for those that go above and beyond. This week looks to be a fun one, with a mixture of off-road fun and a trip back to the ’90s.

Of particular interest is this week’s Back to the ’90s event. Up for grabs is the 177mph Vauxhall Lotus Carlton. Come prepared for a modest challenge as you’ll need to go up against “highly skilled” Drivatars to win the car.

There’s also the rather odd pairing of the Ford F-150 Raptor and the Hyundai Veloster N. We can’t speak much to how the two compare in-game, but we did recently take the Hyundai around a real-world race track.

Without further ado, the lowdown on this week’s challenges are as follows:

Veloster Raptor

  • Series: Dirt Racing Series
  • Cars: Hyundai Veloster N; Ford F-150 Raptor
  • Performance Rating: No Restriction
  • Prizes: 5,000 CR, Kazoo Marching Band Horn, Super Wheelspin

Back to the ’90s

  • Series: Road Racing Series
  • Car: 1990’s Collection
  • Performance Rating: No Restriction
  • Prizes: 5,000 CR, Vauxhall Lotus Carlton, Alien Morph Suit

The Trial: Mud and Guts

  • Series: Cross Country Series
  • Championship: Offroad Buggies
  • Performance Rating: Unrestricted
  • Prize: Green Man Suit

Forzathon Events

With the UK covered in snow it makes sense this week’s challenges focus on sport utes.

Like last week, the first challenge is a simple one: own and drive any Sport Utility Hero vehicle. With no shortage of sporty four-wheelers to choose from, this is as easy as it comes. The next challenge needs a little something extra: earn 10 Binman Skills.

This could be some of the most fun you’ll have all week. The task? Knock over trash bins. Put on your coveralls and start your own trash collection company. If you’re worried about hopping all over the map looking for trash bins, we’ve got you covered. Head over to Edinburgh and you’ll knock this challenge out of the park in no time.

The third challenge requires you to win three Cross Country Circuit events. A simple enough task, and better still the four-wheeler will feel right at home blazing a trail across different terrain. Finally, you’ll need to earn 10 Trading Paint Skills — a task that will come naturally in an SUV.

This week’s lineup features a familiar face, the 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 RS. Thanks to the community votes, this is your second chance to claim the grippy RS for 175 Forzathon Points. If you already have the Porsche, consider spending the points on a regular or super wheelspin.

In addition to the returning GT3 RS, this week’s Forza Edition car is the NISMO GT-R LM. This is a must-have thanks to the bonus event influence perk. The price is a tad steep at 300 FP, but you only need to run 10 Forzathon Live events to completion to cover the cost.

Finally, things are still a little spooky around the festival and the clothing options include a Pumpkin Hat and a Clown Mask for 100 FP each.

Barn Find

There’s no new barn find this week, but new players will have a chance at a seasonal rumor. We won’t spoil the surprise, but rest assured this is the perfect season to put it to use.
