Fanatec’s New Podium Pedals Back in Stock, 5% Off with Discount Code

Fanatec’s new Podium Pedals Formula are back in stock Wednesday, August 19, at 14:00 UTC (that’s 10:00 AM Eastern, 7:00 AM Pacific, or 4:00 PM CEST). If the first batch is any indication, you won’t have long to think it over: the initial production run sold out in roughly seven minutes.

The good news for GTPlanet readers is that our GTPLANET5 Fanatec discount code should apply, knocking 5% off at checkout.

The code doesn’t work on items already marked down, but the Podium Pedals Formula is standard-price stock, so it should be fair game, and you can use any of the affiliate links in this article.

Fanatec Podium Pedals Formula

The Podium Pedals are also fully compatible with Fanatec’s PlayStation ecosystem, including the Gran Turismo DD Pro and the Gran Turismo DD Extreme, which you can read all about in our full review.

The Podium Pedals Formula (the two-pedal configuration with carbon fiber pedal plates and heel cups) first went on sale June 25, selling out almost immediately. Fanatec says tomorrow’s second batch is larger than the first, but it’s once again warning interested buyers to act fast, with further stock to follow as production ramps up.

However, it’s worth noting the launch bundle’s free aluminum GT-style pedal plates are no longer included. Fanatec explained that preparing the bundle would have added significant delays at the warehouse, and it decided getting the pedals back on sale sooner was the better option.

New Podium Pedals Sport

Fanatec Podium Pedals Sport

Alongside the restock, Fanatec has announced a third configuration: the Podium Pedals Sport.

It’s aimed at buyers who wanted Podium Pedals performance without paying for carbon components or a clutch pedal they’d never use. The Sport is a two-pedal set that swaps the Formula’s carbon fiber for the aluminum GT-style pedal plates, making it the cheapest way into the Podium Pedals range.

It arrives at the end of September, priced as follows:

  • $599.99 USD
  • €599.95 EUR
  • $950 AUD
  • ¥100,000 JPY

Three-Pedal Set Coming in October

Finally, there’s an update on the full three-pedal Podium Pedals set, which still hasn’t had its original retail launch after manufacturing problems with the clutch pedal delayed the schedule.

Fanatec says those issues have now been resolved, but the clutch needs additional time to be prepared for mass production. The three-pedal set (and a separate clutch upgrade for existing owners) is now expected to become available in October.
