With this weekend’s Austrian Grand Prix just hours away from the green flag, what better time for another in-game look at the upcoming F1 2016 featuring – you guessed it – the Red Bull Ring.
Team VVV brings us new E3 gameplay footage of the upcoming F1 2016, featuring the Ferrari SF16-H taking a couple of laps around Autódromo José Carlos Pace, home to the Brazilian Grand Prix.
It’s funny how things work out sometimes. When the first gameplay footage of F1 2016 surfaced yesterday, I made a point of acknowledging that the Baku City Circuit, home to this weekend’s European Grand Prix, wasn’t shown in said footage.
The 2016 season of Formula One has been a memorable one thus far, and this past weekend’s Monaco GP only helped to intensify the chaos that’s made for quite an entertaining string of races. Capitalizing on the current state of the season, and continuing to deliver the game as early into the season, Codemasters have officially announced F1 2016 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms and is due later this summer.
By following in the footsteps of the 1.03 patch and last November’s update, Codemasters continues to offer extensive fixes for its leading F1 title. This time the improvements are oriented mostly towards Xbox One owners, with limited focus towards PlayStation 4 ones. One particular upgrade that we would like to stress is the corner cutting rule – it has been adjusted on both consoles. The list of all the fixes is as follows:
F1 2015 may very well release for the European audience tomorrow, those in North America more than a week later, and those in Brazil days after, the Italian audience will be able to enjoy the game today. This bodes well for the passionate Tifosi, supporters of Scuderia Ferrari, a team far more competitive than last year and will no doubt want to drive their team to a championship victory.
