Endurance Motorsport Series Revealed at Nacon Connect, Launches 2025 on PC & Gen 9 Consoles

In a surprise announcement during the Nacon Connect live stream today, KT Racing has revealed a brand-new racing title by the name of Endurance Motorsport Series — and it’s set for a 2025 launch.

The short teaser trailer alone is somewhat intriguing, featuring no direct racing action but showing off two very significant race cars: the Porsche 911 992 GT3R and its hypercar stablemate the 963.

If that weren’t quite enough, the official blurb for the title states that EMS will feature “a number of official vehicles and circuits”, “legendary tracks”, and “Hypercars, LMP2 and GT from the major car manufacturers”.

That all sounds an awful lot like the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) — which of course includes the 24 Hours of Le Mans in KT Racing’s home country of France — but the fact that the license for that lays elsewhere at present poses more questions than the trailer answers.

Notably though, there’s another twist packed into this 40-second teaser: not only will you drive in the long-haul races in EMS, but you’ll be part of the team behind the car too. The tagline, as featured in the video, is “Race as a driver, win as a team”.

Quite how this will come about remains to be seen, with the official press release noting that the game “also takes you right into the pits, as you step into the shoes of the race engineers” — suggesting you’ll be responsible for strategy planning when not at the wheel of your race car.

Indeed Nacon makes specific note of the fact you’ll need to plan a strategy and make decisions on the fly in response to “unforeseen occurrences” like incidents and weather; you can see a weather radar screen in the trailer, although we can’t make out for which circuit. Multiclass racing is also part of EMS, so you’ll have to plan around being overtaken by higher-category cars (and vice versa).

As this is only an initial announcement there’s a significant amount we don’t yet know about the title. However it’s set to be based on the same KT Engine as used until recently for the official WRC game, and will launch next year on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series consoles.
