A new set of Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges lands this Friday, September 4, once your console clock rolls past midnight. The usual deal applies, with five events, seven days to get through them, and a stack of bonus reward tickets for those who do.
For the uninitiated, Weekly Challenges open up after you’ve completed the GT Cafe career to Menu Book 39 and watched the ending movie, giving players who’ve finished the main game something to come back for.
Each week pairs four races drawn from the World Circuits roster with a fifth “Special” event built just for that set, and finishing on the podium in one, three, and five of them drops bonus tickets into your Gifts. Between race prizes, clean race bonuses, and the tickets, a full sweep is worth somewhere around 1.3m credits in cash and prizes.
This Week’s Highlights
The Special Event goes back to the Time Trial format this week, and it’s an Italian affair. You’ll be running the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm ’20 around the reverse layout of Trial Mountain Circuit, chasing a bronze target of 1:03.000. Gold is worth 30,000cr, with silver and bronze paying 18,000cr and 12,000cr respectively.
The big money is at the other end of the list. The Gr.1 Prototype Series at Yas Marina Circuit is a 15-lap race for anything up to 950PP on racing tires, and it carries the week’s headline 300,000cr win reward. It’s also the only event in the set with fuel and tire wear turned up, at 3x and 5x respectively, so plan on visiting the pits at some point.
In between, Suzuka hosts the World Touring Car 600 over four laps with a hard 600PP ceiling and 95,000cr on offer, the second-largest prize of the week. Deep Forest Raceway’s reverse layout hosts a five-lap European Clubman Cup 600 for European road cars, paying 75,000cr.
That leaves the Sunday Cup Classic at the Red Bull Ring Short Track as the low point at 25,000cr, though it’s three laps of the shortest circuit in the set, so it’ll be over before you’ve finished your coffee.

Power Pack DLC owners get their own parallel reward track alongside the standard Weekly Challenges again this week.
There’s no fixed list of races to work through. Finish (not win) any three events and the full set of rewards is yours, refreshing on the same weekly schedule as the main challenges. As has become the pattern, they line up with the standard completion tickets.
