Customers in the US and Europe can snag Fanatec products for a bit of a discount from today, with a new initiative centered on refurbished items — and they still come with a two-year warranty.
The “Certified Refurbished” scheme is available in these two main territories for now, with Fanatec supplying second-hand wheels, bases, pedals, and accessories that it has fixed, fettled, and tested, and at a discount too.

Precisely what stock will be available is likely to be pretty variable at any given time — Fanatec is currently investigating availability in the US store — because it really depends on what products Fanatec is receiving back. The brand doesn’t offer a part-exchange service, so these are likely warranty returns themselves, or perhaps products used at events like the Gran Turismo World Series.
However they come back, Fanatec refurbishes them and makes sure that they are tested and inspected to meet the same standards as new products. The company does note that “most arrive with virtually no cosmetic flaws”, so expect something similar to the A1 grade given to consumer and household electronics.
Discounts vary, but some products are available for up to 30% off. A quick scan of the European store revealed a refurbished Gran Turismo DD Pro 5Nm bundle available for exactly that, at €416.95 compared to its €594.95 list price when new — though this would be pre-QR2 update with the current bundle costing €699.95.
Upgrades like the 8Nm Boost Kit, load cell pedal, QR2 wheel- and base-side, and clutch pedal are all also available through the Certified Refurbished scheme, offering a discounted way to spruce up your existing set-up too. Not to mention myriad wheel rim options…
All products purchased through the program come with a two-year warranty too, and the standard 30-day return policy applies to these products as with anything else purchased from Fanatec.
