So long as you approach it slowly enough it doesn't register as an impact, therefore you don't get disqualified. (I think that's also why you can drive through them, but not crash through them at speed. Perhaps made of a newly discovered Non-Newtonian Solid? lol)
The one at the end of the straight is possibly the easiest "gap" to get through that I've encountered yet. You can get through the one half way back up the straight too, but that one will, more often than not, disqualify you.
I'll freely admit that I didn't know about the Suzuka glitch until today, and gave up on the vettel challenge for this track long ago, and completed it this morning following the rough path in the video linked earlier in this thread. (My only cheat, and only gold in this challenge series)
(EDIT: As for the Time Trial, I've done a legal time, taken the gear and the money, fully expecting PD to take the money back despite participating in the correct manner. One run, never going back to it, no point really, as it'll get withdrawn by the end of today I don't doubt.)
