Well making all the race cars that are in the game should have an editable version. For example, the GT500s should have the real cars to buy and then another version that you can edit the livery. I think this would make people very happy!

Maybe if not have an editor in-game, have it something like LFS where you have a template!!

Ideas?
1- Just copy paste what Turn 10 is doing and will be epic.
2- If PD are lazy, they can copy paste what Codemaster did with GRID, and would be good enough. GRID was quick to make liveries and the money gained from sponsors was a very nice idea.
3- Template like in rFactor, iracing, LFS etc..

I honestly dont need it to be as in depth as FM's editor, but basic shapes and decals would suffice for me.

i like the editor in juiced2, nfs prostreet/shift1-2. those with a few tweeks would be great in gt.

....What the heck is up with some people and liveries? Who wouldn't want to create iconic race cars or rally cars, Not to mention it puts replay ability through the roof. it's almost sad that people are actually against a livery system, Something that could really strengthen the game.

Although there is definitely an opportunity for PD to create something even more powerful/intuitive than that of Forza. Sadly, you have absolutely no faith in PD ever doing that. You just know that a livery editor in GT6 will have some 🤬 system that makes it needlessly crippled and complicated, a-la paint chips in GT5, thus rendering it virtually pointless.
It's got to be there though in GT6. It'd be beyond embarrassing if one isn't there.

Surely they could add some sticker packs such as Fatlace, Hellaflush... That kinda thing.
And have a Sticker Editor which allows you to add text etc.
Would really add some personal touches to the game as GT5 never had anything like that.
All you had is your Cars Colours, your Profile Design and a Profile Picture.. Like, Wtf!?

I remember making "wraparounds" for cars in Shift on the PSP, where you can create your own design, save it as an image file, and upload it on to your car. In my mind, it would make designing a car very easy, if you know how to do that kind of thing. There could be like design and geometry for those who cannot create their own on a computer.
The only thing that would worry me, though, is a pornographic car, but I suppose blocking/reporting images online could be in order.

If they have a livery editor, they should do what pCARS is doing and put in a generic F1 car and GP2 car, and also the Forza 'share liveries to others online which I don't know the name of because i don't have the game's feature.

I think you should be able to buy blank versions of race (F1, NASCAR, WRC, etc
and road (GT-R, Italia, McLaren F1, etc and be able to customize with colors, shapes, text, etc;...if you ask me, I would love a half blue, half red, white stripe 69 Camaro or a D1 style GT-R =D

I think they should make livery editor, yes... that also could kill the 4 GT500 GT-R's that are the same.
For example... they make one, the Calsonic. Then as color choice, you choose some pre-made liveries, as the Motul, Yellow Hat, etc... and let open for livery editor, so, we could make our version, like HKS livery, or Axia Trampio, Fet Sports...
