Ugh; tonight was not my best outing by perhaps the largest margin possible. See my fails and what looked like good racing on the opposite side of the track at the SNAIL Race Car Series open drive. Hope to see everyone on the grid next week, assuming I qualify . . .

Wow, that was fun! I was pretty worn out after KOQ.
I was freaking during qualy when my name was staying at the top, and then along comes Grim, thanks for stealing what was probably going to be my only pole ever Then I hold the lead with my teammate right behind me for the whole first stint and promptly lose it going into the pits and go to last place, ya just gotta love this stuff
Was very happy to make it in tonight, thanks to all for a great night of racing!

I'm working on the stats and the qualification times were insane. First to last on the grid separated by .275! Talk about a tight field for this weeks race! Well done gents

This week's race is going to be a classic and it's going to suck! 👍

Parcells nailed it! Now lets never do this again shall we?

I thought I qualified 9th about a quarter second behind the pole and roughly 0.8 tenths of a second separating first from last but regardless the qualy was amazingly tight and kudos to all you guys who made it through KOQ, my fastest lap ever was a tenth shy of what you 5 guys pulled off.

So then we had a little accident in race 2 and while I’m not positive I kind of think it involved one team Zippo member taking out the other which is never good but it is Nascar and the fans deserved nothing less. At the time of our accident I’m sure our team principal was pondering what to say to us after the race but post-accident Team Zippo beared down and almost pulled off a 4-5 finish if not for the very last turn of the race. The two of us hooked up and passed 3-4 or more cars and quite frankly I still don’t know how we did it cause Parcells was winging it most of the night…should I bump draft Zii or take all my momentum and just make the pass??, that is what plagued me a good part of the night….that and never turning right.

Conducted some testing last night and you're about to receive some unsolicited Parcells advise…

Be careful out there tonight fellas, this track will try to kill you if you step out of line too much. Parcells is predicting the most spin-outs in any race this season, I don’t even think it will be close to be honest…calm and steady will be rewarded as you pass yet another car who challenged the Cape Ring and lost.

I also tested very briefly before a secret DTC season 2 car testing session last night.

There are a few corners that will punish you for applying too much pressure to the accelerator too early. So short shift or be gentle on the throttle...or both.

Another issue that is somewhat unique to tracks this long is tire wear. The tires wear here very quickly. And because the track is so long, each time you take the same corner it is like doing it on completely different tires. So it's hard to gauge how fast you can take that corner on lap 2 and then lap 3 because your tires are almost 2 bars down each time around.

I hope to make the main event but I am not confident because this is a hard track nail down one great lap.
