I was wondering how you gained 3 seconds on me in the pits; it was so disappointing to have your car beam in front of me right at pit exit, after I thought I had kept the lead I had on you.

Unrelated, I believe I will be able to fully participate in this series (not just the first race of the night only). My math wasn't correct; I was thinking it would run way later than it did.

Yeah, as I was gaining (slowly) anyway I probably should have left well alone and gone with a full tank but my own math let me down and I knew it would be tight from the minute I left the pits.

You were going well though, along with @full89metal, and it was an enjoyable race despite my sloppy finish.

As a side note, I ran about 10 laps with this same car at Daytona Road Course (for Sunday night) and tire wear was no where near as bad. Obviously, Trail Mountain has way more turns, but the elevation changes drastically change the tire load too.

The key difference is that the tyre wear was set to Very Fast last night and the Sunday night setting is Normal.
 
Im loving that pit strategy is playing a role in the event. Just adds another dimension to the race you need to think about

The series was off to a great start for its inaugural race as 15 drivers took the green flag in the first race of the night. Adventuruss took the pole with a blistering lap and never looked back taking the win in dominating fashion. Rounding out the top three included JWalker_SSR7 and turnuptheheat. The second race started the grid inverted from the 1st race results. All this meant was it took a bit longer for Adventuruss to assume the lead! The racing was once again tight through the field with GTPdangerzone641 and zii1993 seeing the podium. Had a few issues in between races with the lobby but were able to sort it out fairly quickly.

Per the rules, only the top 16 in points are guaranteed starting positions on the grid for next week’s race at Apricot Hill Raceway. If you are in the top 16, and you are sure you will not make it to the race, please let us know so that alternates (in the order listed) know they can race. That said, I’m sure a couple folks will not make the race so there is a good chance alternates will be racing.​



Current Team Standings

In the team standings, we will have four teams competing this season for the Team Championships and it looks like its going to be a tight battle with the top three teams separated by 4 points. This week, Team Empire State Motorsports earned 38 points to take the top spot going into Week 2.​



All Star Entry List

Entry into the season ending All Star race currently has 5 drivers qualified for the event based on last night’s results however with 3 weeks remaining, only Adventuruss has a guaranteed spot on the grid with his wins in week 1.​


Next week, the series heads to Apricot Hill Raceway for week two of the series. See you on the track!

League update: starting this week, I plan to run the lobby as "public" with mics disabled.

Just a reminder that only those in the top 16 in pts have a confirmed spot on the grid this week. If you know you will not make the race this week, please let me know so I can inform the next alternate. Thanks and see you all wed night.

Parcells officially acknowledging interest in the series. Seems there's little to no guarantee a spot in this week's race. Guess I'll just show up and see how it plays out.

As the OP states, the grid spots are based on top 16 in points having guaranteed spots on the grid and then the rest go to alternates. Im sure we will have a few no shows for various reasons so there is a chance you might make the grid. Please let me know your race number (one that has not been chosen) and I'll get you added to the list.

Hey Parcells2. Please let Parcells know that he is the second alternate for this week behind Parker (based on when he signed up) and I think two folks (minimum) will be out this week so his chance to race are good.
