Woh, what's up with the collision model on the front? That needs some work. Though if the collision model was fixed, it may not flip all crazy like that, haha.
Not wanting to bug any of the SNAIL Stewards of course or anyone and I understand there is no racing this weekend but just curious when ill know what division ill be in. Thanks guys 👍 Of course I understand there is a lot to do and life comes in the way and much more. No Rush of course![]()

New personal best at trial mountain with the S2000
I was happy with a 1:42, aliens always with their 4 second faster times lol
Anyone up for a little head to head practice? Regardless division, I need to get some car on car action for tonights races. I was cocky to think I could come back after a year of not racing and be consistent. Noticing my lap times are half a second to a full second slower, and my race craft needs improving, especially in the areas of passing/choosing a line.
I would of raced but wasn't at home in timebeen thinking about racing this series
Looks like I have a new place to source track maps from for banners.
On another somewhat related note, I've thought about printing out course maps with my 3D printer. I might have to try a few soon. Also thought about doing some with elevation and land topography too. Would be cool to turn one into a diorama.
We should team up? unless you dont have the time.
Hey Coach, from what you said was I post am I post to be assigned this Sunday morning or? Either way, thanks again for the response 👍You'll find out your division prior to next Sunday. The reason for not finding out is to make sure the new drivers don't upset the balance of numbers in each division. The division you'll be in doesn't really matter until race night, especially for someone like yourself who is returning.
Yet, to really answer your question, you will likely find out your assigned division next Sunday morning (west coast time).

Found something interesting. So, Midfield Raceway came out as a free update around Feb 2015, https://www.gtplanet.net/midfield-raceway-coming-to-gran-turismo-6/.
I managed to get a screenshot of this photo due to lag in the lobby, but that's not the point. Look at the that part of track I circled.

Now skip to 6:38 in this video.
Does it look familiar? It's from Gran Turismo PSP, though it was a test track which didn't make it into the official release, PD left traces of it leaving curious people traces of secret unfinished tracks, and there were lots of them.
What I'm trying to say is that they probably ported the track or else that test track wouldn't be sitting there. If they can port Midfield Raceway without starting from scratch, I don't see why they can't port other tracks, which didn't make it into GT6.
Or course maker would be cool too.![]()

The front straight is flat ground. Turn 1/2 is a quick right/left chute still with no elevation change. A little banking on the road. Turn 3 starts to go kinda steep uphill about where the apex is and the straight to Turn 4 is slightly uphill. Then Turn 5-9 is the esses, all even ground and a lot of fun. It ends with Turn 10 which is like a chute where you can really push wide but then once you get out there cut back in for Turn 11. Turn 12/13 is a double apex left. Again this whole area so far has very little elevation change. Turn 13 leads to the back straight which is constantly slightly going uphill to Turns 14 and 15. They are on level ground and lead back to the main straight. It's a high speed lap.
