Is there a day/time for that series? I'd be interested...

I haven't been here much lately, what happened to Sunday Night racing? I don't see any new combos... (Fishslap expected)...
SNAIL has it's own dedicated thread now and there is a specific topic just for Sunday's combos. There should be a link at the top of your page. It shows the path of forums from GT6 Online Racing > GT6 Clubs & Leagues > SNAIL Racing League.

Pasted from the last page to better advertise:

ATTN: anyone looking for a new racing series:

I have been working on a new series and everything is done. The only problem is @FlipJ isn't ready. Right now I can only be a co-director. So my question to you all is this: Who would like to be Temporary Series Director for the time being? When FlipJ is ready he will take over with me staying as co-director and you can become another co-director or other high ranking official in the series management.

-The cars: Premium race cars that can be painted and/or numbered
-The time: Tuesday nights, likely after 8pm EST
-The format:
-Three 30 minute races: 10 min Qualifying for Race 1, Race 2 is order as finished Race 1, and Race 3 is reverse grid.
-Racing Hard tires
-Normal tire wear
-Pit Lane is closed
-No tuning allowed
-Most likely for points but not sure yet
The idea is a cross between a sprint race and an endurance race. If you are interested in participating or having an important role in the management, please reply to this message or send me a PM.

Thank you for your time and have a great day! Race clean! Race SNAIL! :gtpflag:

Hoii @DP, TBH I really understand @zer05ive as @FlipJ too, sometimes you have good ideas but implementing it is an issue regarding your reputation especially on endurance races when you leave because you are bored (Labour Day:mad:) or leaving track in first round (RCS) and step out ...hmm, not interested DP

Id definitely be down for spec racing then :) im in Europe so Id have to work around the timezone issue, if the races are run at decent times you can count me in
Hoii @han32solo , welcome in the club of the (k)night raiders, called Red Eyes Racers like @turnupdaheat, @Engmatic1 , @Vitessekid as myself

That's why the races are shorter!!

Looks like with this: http://gpxcreator.com/ you can create a GPX file of the Imola race track that looks like this

Imola.PNG

when viewed on: http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/

If this works well, you won't need a GPS to create tracks and GPX files - you just trace the route you want to make into a track.

I will see tonight if I can succesfully import that into the track builder

It didn't work. During the installation process it said my graphics card needs to be upgraded.
That's a shame! :boggled:
I could open the app just fine, but right now I've got work to do, so haven't been able to poke around with it yet.

Even if I get it to work, I'm still mad as to why this way? Couldn't they make a webapp that runs directly from the game website... Any modern browser could handle it.

Why tablet only, who knows? Why make it so only one impossible to get Nismo GTR the only car that can record and input GPS data into the GT6 GPS visualizer? PD does weird things with no explanation all the time. The very fact that they don't communicate with their client base is why I will not play another GT game. The fact that it took so long to get the CM, and the fact that I now have to use it on an outside device i dont own is crap. The fact that I have to use a work around to get to use it is even more crap.

Hmmmm, I feel like I am reading communications from an alternate universe. The words are definitely English in structure, but meaning - concept - intent are from "Infinity and Beyond". If only Buzz Lightyear was here to interpret.

PD finally released the track creator. Its an app that is supposed to only be available for tablets. some enterprising people have got it working on PC's and someone has posted the app for download onto a smart phone, and it works on that now as well.

For those of us .......... from "The Old Generation" that just race on a PS3 ......... how does have a course creator on a tablet or PC help us in GT-6?

If the answer is a lot of mumbo jumbo about saving here, copying there, inserting a computer thing-a-majig into the PS3, copying "it" to the Game Data thingy and restarting the PS3 for a clean lift-off of GT-6 and a new track .......... I'll wait for the sequels.

Of course, by that time the power cord to my Sweetwater Cemetery Plot will have been cut by the lawnmower and I'll be left in the dark and not able to get online any longer.
