I'll say this, GT6 is losing players quite quickly. I click through almost every thread in most of the GT6 forums and just in the past week at least a dozen people have said they're already burnt out on GT6. I haven't played in about a week because my race sounds stopped working (of which the update fixed somehow). But I certainly don't want to bite the hand that feeds me, however to say I am not disappointed with 1.05 would be a lie.

I'm not happy at all, PD is not listening to the comunity, the main things that sould be fixed are left behind, instead of adding some **bleep** features they should fix what is broken since the release.

I'm in rage mode against PD at this moment.
These features take a few days. Overhauling the whole sound system would take much longer.
Don't expect sound improvements in GT6. Don't set yourself up for disappointment.

Right, and the same people will be right back on the wagon as soon as another promise or trailer or update shows up.

PD is a little child so we should blame the parents.
Got it.

March is the end of a fiscal quarter. Let's see what happens before the end of the month, because rumblings like ours does not bode well for stock price.
PD being only a subsidiary of SONY I doubt our "rumblings" are going to do much to SONY's (NYSE/SNE) share price.

-+I don't have multi-monitor, but I may use the FOV "glitch"
+I love the Car Search addition
-The login bonus circle next to the credits is annoying
-I don't care about go-karts
-There is no new track, which is now 10 days late

I'm right at the "meh" mark on the Unsatisfied---Satisfied scale. Car Search is a great addition, but everything else sucks.
What FOV glitch? :O

What FOV glitch? :O
The FOV in GT6 and I'm assuming GT5 seems backwards. For most people, I believe optimal FOV is in the 40-50 range for proper feel of speed and proper peripheral vision. In my case, since my seat is about 8ft from a 46" screen, the FOV is in the high 30 low 40 range. So for 100 to be the default in GT6 and reducing it actually increases the zoom.
I'm hoping someone can correct anything I said if it was wrong.

Don't be so sure. Sony's currently most profitable division is their insurance business. The Sony computer entertainment division is seen as a key element of their future. They have items like PS Now and PS4 as their future.

With GT being the traditional element that drives users to Sony's consoles, a poor GT turn out is a very bad indicator of the future of those new initiatives.

Sony might not be listening to us, but the folks who provide investor guidance are.

PS4 is easily outselling it's direct competitor, and that's without GT.

Anything you get past the base game is a bonus (given that any claims the game made before it was released happened).

My reaction after reading the "updates" from patch 1.05

I'm glad PD added the new little features to the game however, it does not contain ANY of the big, new features that we were told we would have. That is why I am not satisfied with this update. Hopefully the next update will be a different story...

That doesn't matter much. The landscape is much broader than just XboxOne versus PS4. It's about the potential of PS4 versus everything else out there to deliver profits.

For instance, check the article below where Tony Key from Ubisoft says that PS4 will double PS3's 80million install base. It's hyperbole. In 2008 they were touting the new PS4 arriving in 2010, which was an outright lie. It's all a game to influence share price.

If something casts doubt on the install base, it's a problem. Especially considering that Sony is not currently viewed as a good investment.

Driveclub has no hype. It's Need for Speed with really nice graphics.
Nah, Need for Speed already has nice graphics, I'd say Driveclub is Project Gotham Racing with really nice graphics
(or better yet, maybe even something like Metropolis Street Racer.... okay, probably not)

Investment has different meanings in finance and economics. I think you are confusing those meanings a bit.

I'm downloading my third hotfix in 2 days now, it's larger than the other two, perhaps something satisfying is inside...
edit: no content, probably bug fixes, but it remains undocumented as of yet in Notifications section.

Bad poll, it should be a 1-5 or 1-10. Satisfaction is rarely a matter of absolutes, whether they be negative, positive, or apathy.

But then you'd have people saying you can't measurensatisfaction.

But with a numbered scale you could at least vote with how satisfied you are with the update instead of just IF you're satisfied. Just asking if people are satisfied in a yes or no manner doesn't really tell us much about the community is reacting. Just positive or negative, no depth.

I'm not arguing with you, just saying what happened in other threads.

The community has split. One part is happy, patient, positive. The other part has become an endless circle jerk consisting of the same 4 or 5 complaints. At times, they are even targeting the positive people, trying to bring them down. A recruitment exercise in negativity perhaps.

There are a few in the middle, they don't seem to post much anymore though.

This poll and thread reflects that.

I'm very proud to be part of this category 👍

In fact, yesterday, I sent a tweet to encourage Kazu and his team
