1/4 drag problema

I'm kinda new to this thread, but i have a problem. I tuned my gtr tc and it hits 8.887 on the quarter mile every time. I didn't log on for a few days and now it hits 8.9s. Can someone tell me why? I didn't mess with anything on the car.

Get at least 200 miles to break it in. If you want to get faster, I suggest you go to the drag racing forum and read the stickies, very helpful. 👍

I understand but i got 8.875 in the tc on automatic. Re ran it and now i'm getting 8.9s.

Did you only run the 8.875 one time? You need to run the tune 2-3 times to check for consistency. If you manage a time faster than you think you should have, you probably got a lucky launch where the RPM's bounced perfect and hit a sweet spot and it pulled your time down by a hair. I've had that happen quite a bit. My Enzo that I was tuning was running 9.047, started tuning then after 2 trys I managed to pull a 9.023 and I new that wasn't right

I had SRF off, just PR'ed an 8.869.

This is because we consider SRF like a cheat, because it gives more grip at launch. Hope you understand
