Man, fingers crossed that we get the mystery models down here eventually. Do want that Nova and TR6.

Wait, we can do that?

:mischievous:

I'm not fond of most of them, but the Nova was too nice to pass on, and the Triumph is an iconic British car. It clashes nicely with my 80% classic muscle collection.

I could keep an eye out for the ones you want and ship them there, if you like. All you'd have to do is pay the cost of the pack and shipping, nothing more.

edit edit edit: wait wait wait. Shinji, did you notice the "I will reimburse you on shipping if overcharged bit?" Just wondering if that's immediately noticeable at all.
That's a negative, ghost rider. You are trying to sell something, you shouldn't have to go out of your way to compensate the buyer. If you had the TLV CR-X in red, it may have been a different story. :D

Cool stuff a6, going to need pictures of the Dream Tomica Fiat, eventually. Thanks. :P
Dr. Nessy already got that one covered........ I still may, I don't know. I got a backlog. :D
"Hako" means box in Japanese, because the Hakosuka has a boxy shape.

Kenmeri? Simple, it's a fastback, and it's the first Skyline to adopt the iconic circular tail lights.
Exactly. And just in case you guys missed it, or forgot from last time, Kenmeri is short for "Ken & Mary", name of the couple(fictitious) featured in then Skyline ads.
How do you open an m2 acryllic case? I don't wanna break it, but I want the car out for pictures. I have it out of the cardboard, but the case seems to be stuck to the stand...
I thought M2's cases popped on & off. Maybe more like slide on & off. It's the Hot Wheels case that's truly a 🤬 to pop open!

I'll respectfully decline. They're real cool and all and if I ever do find them down here, yay. But they're not something that I'm desperately after. Appreciate the offer though, very kind. 👍
I got a backlog.

Too much information, Shinji....

Don't look at me that way, someone had to.

Hey, I hate mud flaps...
For disliking mud flaps, you get two mud slaps.

@a6m5 Generic or not, you bet I'm forreal. Just for that, you're going to get some extra cornmeal.

Okay, bullying aside, it's my turn for photos.

Thank god there's another nut out there like me who documents year of release on his stuff.

These damn image URLs are getting longer and longer.

I wouldn't worry about Andy. He can go overboard with the teasing sometimes, I'm definitely guilty of this also. Keep posting, Kakashi. If it weren't for the pics, I'd never have stuck around in this thread. True story.

Opened one car:

Tomica Limited Vintage Neo Toyota Crown 4-door Hardtop 2800 DOHC Royal Saloon LV-N78a

Whoa hang on, I was just playing. Sorry if I've upset you. I really thought you were playing along with that last response. I really didn't think someone would think I could seriously "ban" them from a thread.

Guess I'm not allowed to talk less seriously then?

Och, damn. How much dat? 1:64?

$16 as I've mentioned before. Fair price?

Nobody said anything about banning, Andy. While we are on the topic though, can I be the one to ban users in this thread? Also, I propose that when you are banned, you have to mail any questionable cars(flap-less Stratos, any Minichamps Porsche 1976 or older for example) to me. Yeah, it sounds perfect. j/k

Where did you get that Viper in the Background?

Guys. Please, just ask me to stop if I ever go too far. I'm a thick-headed and insensitive guy, but it would greatly sadden me if you guys left and never spoke up.

Here's some Matchboxes to make up for it:

2006 Pre-Toy Fair Jeep Hurricane Concept. It's not as valuable as it sounds.

2013 60th MBX Anniversary Edition.
Decided to break down the carded collection, and get rid of a few while I was at it.

Speaking of Matchbox, I was in my local Walmart tonight and glanced at them as I walked by. Saw one of those old Chevy (GMC?) pickups and a thought crossed my mind to do a custom. Went over to another isle real quick and came back to get it. Some kid in the isle had snagged it before I got back.

Where's Cano when I need him.

So my birthday came and went. But my collection grew and grew. I started at something like 10 cars. Now I'm up to 167. Not a bad haul if I do say so myself. Thanks to loved ones who kept dropping off cars after cars!

Ugh. Greedy bastards.

Edit: Here's my dilemma. I have some baseball bobbleheads listed on eBay for $100 + shipping. Someone just messaged me asking if I would sell for $100 shipped. That's a large chunk of what I would need for that car. Crazy price? Beyond crazy. Doable? maybe...

Edit 2: I messaged them and asked for free priority shipping. They want to be greedy, so will I. :P

Edit 3: I went ahead with the purchase, I figured they wouldn't respond by morning and by then it would disappear. The best part about it, I just activated my PayPal account for a new feature they offer. You can select "Pay after Delivery" and once the item is delivered they will send you a notice asking for payment. If you don't pay by the 14th day, they deduct the amount from your checking account automatically. I have a work trip coming up next week with LOTS of overtime.

Worth it.

:0 so you really bought it? Dear God I didn't think I'd really screw you up like this. Last time I post something like that, I promise!

I was waiting for one to pop up anyway, you just sped up the process a couple minutes before I found John's post on the Lamley facebook. :P
