I keep forgetting to share this with you guys, but here's actually one of the first 1/64 scale cars I've actually kept in its box.

IMG_20141211_203633.jpg

I was 9 or 10 years old when I bought this one and I had no clue what the R-GT model was made for exactly at the time. I just thought it was cool and just kept it under this glass container the whole time.

I got my big shipment from Japan Booster today! I've yet to open the package, but let's hope that everything's in one piece!
Yeah, I'm like them because they're something a little different. Anyway after much back and forth I decided to go with the red Bellett over the orange one. And one Townace will do me, white was an automatic choice.
Red!? Interesting(I've yet to check that one out). I found something interesting on the Townace vs Daihatsu Delta(Wide). Delta is the badge engineered Townace. Had I known this, I may have skipped on the Delta I have on preorder for this month, but whatever.

Can I call you Shinji for now on?
Not my real name(Canadian nickname probably 'hoser' in Canadian), but go right ahead.
Found these in store wooo
May have to look at the Stormtrooper one. Of course, I said that about the R2D2 & passed on that one, but I've always been a Stormtrooper guy.
Most of my entire collection is online; I just haven't bought them yet. :D
Sometimes, I wonder if Dr. Nessy's mind works like this. Of course, he doesn't plan on actually paying for the cars. :P
Ooh, you're daring me!? :mischievous: Fine. By Treize Khushrenada's word you shall see it!

Also, Shinj... ahem, Mr. @a6m5, since you wanted to see it, you should take a look at this here:

Photo warning: Great photographer I am not, so you'll have to take my poor pictures instead until I learn the tricks of the trade. Without further ado, here it is:

Lamborghini Miura P400 SV by Minichamps, part of the "La collezione di Sant'Agata" set

And for good measure, here's the other (cheaper) Miura I own, bought at the Autoclassico car show here in Portugal:
At first, I thought that these two were the greatest Miura I had ever seen, but then I started thinking this was probably a 1/43?(this is 1/64 & hot wheels thread lol). I do love both Miura. I thought the photos looked great, and the Miuras are perfect. Thanks for sharing. 👍
Wow! one of my local supermarkets finally has some new HW's. Finally have the mainline BB 510 wagon :D (nothing else decent though).
......... Now I'm getting beat by a Brit. :grumpy:

Cue another new VHTF Retro Entertainment car.
You mean 'will never ever be seen on pegs' Retro Entertainment car? :D
BTW, has anyone been clicking these pics for full size? If not, I can save myself time by excluding URL tags.
Lamborghini Murcielago R-GT
Sometimes I do, most of the time, no. Maybe 30%/70%?

Red!? Interesting(I've yet to check that one out).

Yeah, I thought seeing as I already have an orange one and there's no real difference between the two beside the grill, there's no point in getting another. Red doesn't quite look as cool I admit but I'm digging it.

Was not aware of this before and if I was, I still would have ordered one. Honestly just going off of pictures I think the Delta looks better than the Townace.
but I've always been a Stormtrooper guy.

Obviously you're a terrible shot then? :P

Thank you. Very nice. IIRC - the same car was shown off in the Scale Model thread. Must own one of those one day. For now - I have to satisfy myself by driving around the one in Gran Turismo.

Mitsubishi Zero - ;) I think I'm missing a lot of cars after meeting Dr. Nessy. Somewhat suspicious, but unfortunately I cannot prove it.

Alrighty! Here's my finds today, all in-store here (Australia) :D

image.jpeg

What I found interesting (once I got home) is the R2-D2 in the twin pack has a 'dirty' look (not real dirt) but the singular one is a 'clean' one. Pretty cool.

image[1].jpeg

I thought this was damn cool looking, pretty decent casting.

image[2].jpeg

I got this as it's a decent casting, but it came with the Aussie edition of the card!
(It's legit in there upside down, not tampered with lol)

image[3].jpeg

Ooh yes!

image[4].jpeg

Lol, boring car, but they are black bandit so I'm not complaining.

New-ish RX-7, and I had not seen this variation of the Screamliner yet. Only Screamliner I have, and I quite like it.

@a6m5 I saw the Zoolander Bronco in store (finally!) buuuuuuuuut upon seeing it in person, I actually passed lol, a pretty shoddy casting imo...

Has anyone found the Greenlight car + trailer sets yet?

Got my payment request for the IDx NISMO US version, think I will let that one slip away too. Don't really need it just for the grill variation...

Er, oops. It's a 1:64 thread, and that is kinda important, isn't it? Egg on my face. :ouch: Nevertheless, glad you liked them. :) Is there such a thing as an 1:64 Miura? And thanks to Photon's words below, I now know the right place to show my 1\43 (which they probably are) cars:

So there is a Scale Model thread, eh? I need to check that one out, and probably share my Miura pics there as well. Buying a Minichamps Miura is no easy task, especially if you're aiming for the Saint' Agata one. It'll cost you a pretty penny, let me warn you... :nervous: But yes, I was pretty lucky to get my hands on one. Still easier than buying one in Gran Turismo, if you ask me.

Also, as a apology for posting the right car on the wrong thread, here's a quickie:

SAM_0380.JPG

These I can assure you they're 1:64s. Actually, they seem to be slightly bigger than 1:64, the rally cars are around 1:57\8, the 908 is probably around that size. Oops again... The rally cars are Majorettes, the FAP is a Norev.

reported.

In all seriousness, I recently found one of those Norev Peugeots over here, which is very very odd since Norev has never ever been sold here. It was also in a pretty sorry shape, missing the rear wing and one of the air scoops, and severely chipped. I think I can rescue it, but first it'll donate it's wheels for the reproduction cause.

But, that's the name... 908 FAP! I'm not being a pervert! J\k

Joke aside, I think I got this one from a Peugeot dealership, like most of my Norev Peugeots. Too bad about yours being damaged, those aero bits are both a pain to clean and to not break... :scared:

There's a orange verison too.

Come on man, I said I was thankful, don't push me.:lol:

So there are Miuras in 1:64 scale, but I sure as heck never saw one before. Guess I need to look out for these things.

if I try to restore it, I'll recreate ther aero bits in sheetmetal.

There have been since 40 years ago:

That's probably the wiser option, those wings can be incredibly fragile. I'm just lucky that I haven't broken mine already.

Also, you too with the Miuras? Bloody hell, guess I found a reason to like Matchboxes...

The slight difference is that the ones posted by @Gotbeefboy564 are from the last three years or so and cost a buck each, the one I posted is 40 years old and costs $40. It also steers the front wheels.

There are other brands like Playart:

Tomica:

Tomica Limited:

Yatming:

And the real deal stuff like Kyosho:

Who also makes the Jota and the recent Concept:

jotared-3.jpg

and CM's Japan:

Amongst others.

Or you could just cut the crap and go for the real deal, Autoart 1:18:

Good luck spending money 👍

My (non-existing) wallet thanks you.

Yeah, all my feels aren't enough to describe that Auto-Art. Nor it's pricetag (which is probably massive)...
Also, didn't know there are both Tomica and Tomica Limited versions of the Miura, pretty nice. 👍 But yeah, Kyosho's and Auto-Art's are indeed the real deal.

I've seen the 4 TLV GT-R. I am very happy I am getting the 4 TLV GT-R.
!!!!???? How did you manage that? I'm getting just one of each(I wanna say gray & silver), but I'm looking forward to their take on the modern sport car. 👍
Mitsubishi Zero - ;) I think I'm missing a lot of cars after meeting Dr. Nessy. Somewhat suspicious, but unfortunately I cannot prove it.
You didn't meet Dr. Nessy, Harry. Collectors who meet Dr. Nessy in person, they are never seen again on gtplanet, or any hot wheels related sites.
Has anyone found the Greenlight car + trailer sets yet?
I have not, I'll likely never see it around my area(lame). I came close to buying one online, but I noticed that they have cooler one's due out in January, so I've decided to hold for now.
The rally cars are Majorettes, the FAP is a Norev.
Sweet. 👍 That Matchbox Miura GotBeefBoy mentioned's really nice, for a $1(at least in the U.S.). I like the Chinese car you have in the background, too.

P.S. I forgot all about it, but I have the Playart Miura Cano posted. I had that car since I was a toddler. It only survived, because it stayed over at my late-groundparents'. My mom threw away all my Tomicas I had at home. :grumpy:
@a6m5 I saw the Zoolander Bronco in store (finally!) buuuuuuuuut upon seeing it in person, I actually passed lol, a pretty shoddy casting imo...
I thought it was OK. Black Bandit Bronco though, that's where it's at. I had to get one online. Nice haul! 👍
Yeah, I thought seeing as I already have an orange one and there's no real difference between the two beside the grill, there's no point in getting another. Red doesn't quite look as cool I admit but I'm digging it.
Well, I'm looking forward to your pics on that one for sure. Variety in our collective collection's good. :D:tup:
Was not aware of this before and if I was, I still would have ordered one. Honestly just going off of pictures I think the Delta looks better than the Townace.
Don't get me wrong, I do think Daihatsu is cool. I just think it's bit repetitive with two Toyotas, two Daihatsus, which is really same four vans with minor differences. You probably don't know this about me, but I'm pretty whiny. :dopey:

Obviously you're a terrible shot then? :P
Spray & pray, only way I play call of duty. On the court though, I refer to myself as the Japanese Larry Bird.

Thanks, that a fraction of my smaller scaled car collection, I only have a few more in my room. (reasons why on last paragraph) I'd love to have that Miura GotBeefBoy mentioned though, but I haven't seen many Matchboxes on supermarkets as of late (mostly HW or Majorettes on my area). When I get brave enough to attempt Internet buying, I might go for it one day. Who knows?

Also, oh, you noticed my Chinese car? Keen eye, that's my Dong (I'm not swearing @Cano keep your head out of the gutter ) Feng 988. That's Chinese for "really old Citröen ZX sedan", by the way. Bought that sucker during a classic car show, dunno what made so interested in having it but there you go. It's in pretty good condition, despite some dust and a broken wing mirror (when you don't have a box for the car, these things tend to happen a little too often). I have a few more 1:43 and 1:18 diecasts, if you want I can show you a few pictures (just not here because thread rules).

Ah, so you own one of the older small Miuras, eh? Nice, it's always great when you can preserve your older cars and avoid tragic fates, like the ones your Tomicas had. :( Fortunately, my mom didn't kill my cars, she only sent them to the attic. :D I have 2 or 3 huge boxes of cars hanging about there, they can't come down simply because I lack the space to do so here in my house. :ouch:

Some of you would have noticed I didn't list my Mad Propz on eBay. Think I'll hang on to them. Finally found this one. Was in the B cases but of the million B case cars I found, never saw this one until today.
