I thought the same thing, except:

  1. Little instruction is given on the matter. Also, if the spoiler being optional is true to the real life vehicle, then I think it should've been clarified.
  2. Those runners. Way they are provided, it requires (plastic)modeling skills to just detach & prepare the spoiler for installation.
  3. Still annoyed about those Supra chin spoilers. lol
I'm sure lot of collectors couldn't care less, but it's just my stance on the matter. I don't care for it! :D

Agreed 100%. I said I was trying to believe otherwise, but if it seems like cost-cutting, it probably is.

Picked up a Matchbox 360 Spider and Lexus GS at a local flea market.

So my last Kyosho DBR9 has just left the house. She will be missed (not really).

But more importantly, I managed to get rid of that Gallardo RG-3 at the same time!

I did one of those holding-up-car shot again. It's neat because the realism's so high with this casting.

I totally saw what you were saying. 👍
Never seen that TL Toyota AA before. Too cool!
It needs a TLV representation. I'd LOVE to add that to my TLV collection.
Nice job with it.
Thank you. You need to do yours now, so you don't screw up your blue CR-X.
not really
You bastard.

Walked into Walmart tonight, turned the corner to the toys and there was an older employee getting rid of the old dump bin and putting everything into one of those big round metal displays. Sitting on the floor next to him were 3 unopened cases. I helped him transfer all the old cars into the new bin and he says "if you are looking for new stuff, it's in those boxes". I'm like, sweeeeeet. Cracked open the first case.........all Beatles cars. :( Same numbers stamped on the outside of the other two, so I left them.

Just my luck.

He already took all the Kool Kombi from the earlier cases. Yes, you may go thru those cases. j/k
Dude, I haven't even attached the antenna for the Bellett's or the side mirrors for the Hino transporter. The likelihood of me attempting this is next to none. :p

If I wanted to be a scalper for a day I could have walked out of there with like 40 of them. :p

If I wanted to be a scalper, I would've taken out a mortgage to buy all the boxes that were originally meant to go to department stores.

Hot Wheels Thug Life.

You bastard.

I'm as cold as ice. Did you see pics of the VLT Aston Martin Vantage?

Not worth it to make maybe couple bucks per car. I guess you could hang on to them for years to make nice profit, but who wants to do that?

I don't know what that is. Wait, would this be in the larger scale thread? If so, I'll check it out later!

Question, do I have to buy the Gran Turismo hotwheels online or could I find them in stores?

Unless it's something like the Redline Club stuff, everything is mostly available in stores. Having the luck to find one before someone else does is another question.

They may show up in stores somewhere, sometime. You can get full sets online for a reasonable price so it's up to you if you want to wait it out.

Alright, thanks guys. I'll just wait it out, if I don't get any; oh well then.

Only got the Gran Turismo R32 Skyline so far. Haven't found the rest. Was all alone on the pegs at Walmart.
I did however find these gems a few days back. :)

Found 4 Forza Motorsport Camaros, the Odyssey, Skate Brigade, along with some random ones that I just personally like. No Beatles cars in my area yet. :(

I must get that Odyssey. The livery is outstanding.

Edit: I done got that Odyssey this afternoon. Not a perfect decal set, so I'll keep looking until I find a better one.

Mattel is really desperate trying to put this whole set out again with only one new car.

Peg warmers Take 3!

All the S2000s and GT-40s will be gone, but perhaps I'll be lucky and find a single one.

Hopefully they will do the same here. Need a couple extras.

So jealous. I haven't even enjoyed the set I got from Speedracer8218 yet, but I'd also love to have another 510 wagon or two, also RX-3. Odyssey looks neat. 👍

That's the spirit! Don't be like some of us who'd walk 500 miles, and then walk 500 more just to get a toy car.
It's taken me years, but I've finally reached that point. They keep pumping out new releases. If you collect all brands like me, it just becomes too much trying to get them all & store them all.

All I have at my Walmart are the 2000 gts.

I want that and i like that color...

Meanwhile I'm still waiting on my 911 RSR Turbo in blue i ordered...

I also like the color, but not necessarily on Porsches. Personal taste.

P.S. Stores in my town has yet to see Japan Historics. It's entirely possible that they showed up & were all gone in couple of hours though. The humanity.
Let me guess, you haven't opened it yet? :p
No, they are opened. Still carded, but the package was opened.
