That GTR looks very nice. I was struggling to muster enthusiasm for any of the latest releases that weren't the Odyssey, so that's good.

Ford GT? Red GT350R? Integra? White Escort? etc, etc. Some nice stuff hitting pegs lately.

I saw the new MX-5. Don't like it with the spoiler. The rear doesn't have any details painted.
Also saw the new Camaro, no painted details at all, so i'll wait for a better paint job.

Forgot to mention that I was thinking of the Matchbox MX-5, not the Hot Wheels one.

Oh. You're talking about this guy:

No I don't know if Dollar Tree has any. :P

Is that a good thing? :dopey:

I've only ever come across two of the blues over the 5 to 6 Walmarts I've recently been accessing.

So my friend called me about an hour ago from inside one of our local Walmart stores. In the store he was in, the bicycle aisle is right next to the HW aisle, and he said another collector was asked to leave after he began moving some bicycles to "barricade himself in front of the Hot Wheels" as my friend put it. Said that the employee who caught him made him put back everything he had, which was just a handful of HWs....

What the hell!

EDIT: Turns out he had two Supers - the Tesla and the NSX - along with the whole Beatles set. Ouch.

I do want the white Escort, but I'm not as set on it as I was the red one. I haven't seen the GT350 in that colour. The lack of detail put me off the blue one and the Forza Camaro is the same.

It's all about minimizing tampo coverage (aka cost) for Mattel. As with the Escort above, it has deco on the sides and the top, so they skip front/back. If a car is plane on sides/top, they'll usually do front/back. In any case, sometimes it sucks, but for $1 USD I don't complain. Now when we start talking about the $4-5 USD cars, there's no excuse there.

Here's the red Shelby and the red NSX coming along shortly...

Checked out Dollar Tree. They really are there!
I know where I'm going after work.

It's a recolor. New color, nothing else.

Also, my Dollar Tree was good for nothing but the same blue Tesla assortment I've seen for months.

Great minds think alike hahah
This is debatable. You know, the latter of course.
Apparently Lamley reported that the ND MX-5 was showing up at Dollar Tree stores. Anyone know if this is true? I'm considering checking my local one after work, but I'm not sure...
I'm gonna try checking mine soon.

I saw one pic of it. My reaction: :yuck:

You got me, too!

So much amazing in this story. Barricading though. With bikes? He needs to check himself into Nessy Ford Clinic.
They really are there!
👍

I don't even think Nessy could help that man.:lol:
Bike barricade would be a naive defense against Dr. Nessy.
Opportunity knocked. Twice even. If I ain't going to do it, I may as well give up on my life dreams.

P.S. That ARTA NSX, delayed again. :(
They are priced according to type. Street cars cost 10 USD while Race cars cost 20 USD.
I've wanted that one for what feels like two years or more. :(

Anybody else absolutely love the HW Honda Z50 or is it just me? Then again I do absolutely love my old Hondas. That's part of why I bought my trike.
I like them. I just can't find them!

I had to google that. Thank god Cano isn't the moderator, because he'd have banned me numerous times already for my ignorance. :D

I can't find them either. This might end up being the one mainline casting I'm crazy enough to buy on the secondary market even if it isn't $1. And of course only if it isn't a TH or $TH. I refuse to buy those on the secondary market.

Bike barricade would be a naive defense against Dr. Nessy.
Being a doctor of many disciplines and having mastered my inner Chakras through use of Kundalini, I am able to channel my telekinetic powers and move objects with the power of thought... Thus rendering any mere mortals feeble attempt of "barricade". ...Infact, I overpower the mind of the scalper, who in turn calmly places their found treasures neatly into my own shopping basket.
