I'd say that's more of a problem for M2.

Maybe I'm just unlucky, but I have two Indycars that have a tire-sizing issue as well. It's like it wasn't properly assembled, got stretched on the "rib" that keeps the tire from slipping off the wheel, and stayed like that.

I think if they did it the opposite way, where the tire locks into a groove in the wheel, it might not been as much of an issue.

Possible, but certain HW Really Riders have the rib too, and given the amount of cars I've gutted in the past, I don't remember handling a single car with stretched tires out of the package.

Hot Wheels is good at something!

Maybe it's a later series. Series 3 probably.
I'll probably pick more up in the future.

Turns out Series 2 was already in the mail. Forgot about that. It also has 'proper' wheels.
I bought a whole box. Oops, overdid it. :p

Some duplicates in there. I decided to free some of them and sell a few.
I opened one of each BMW.

The hood opens on both of them, but I was too lazy to grab a pic.

I also opened the Bel Air.

Is the golden grille too much? Not if a bad guy is driving it.

It's even got this sweet orange engine.
IMG_6347.jpg

But wait, there's more!
I got more stuff from a different seller. Old stuff. Awesome stuff.

This Lesney ambulance thing is awesome. And pretty tiny.
No idea what's up with the squareish decals on it. Pretty sure they were added later.

The back has opening metal doors which is really cool.

Next up is a Lesney Ferrari Berlinetta.

Yes, it tows!

And finally, another black wheel Siku. Since Cano pointed the wheels out I've been keeping an eye out. They're really not very common for a good price.

Jaaaaaaaaaag. :p

The gold grille in the 57 is stock stuff. The old stuff is indeed super-awesome, all of them in very good shape. Sadly I don't have pictures of mine... well, my Ferrari is covered in an inch of dust in my display, guess I'll have to clean that one next. I don't have the slightest idea where my ambulance is. And I already have pics of my Siku Jaguar, which I'll post later on today.

All in all great grabs dude 👍

Mattel trolls hard with the reveal of what the wheels will be like on the $TH Lancer Evo.

Scalpers be cheesed, collectors be disappointed, and broke persons can rejoice.

It's supposed to be that way to make cars fit on the various Hot Wheels tracks. That's also why we get silly bumpers that are way too high.

I knew about the underbite bumpers, but i swear i have HW's with different axle widths..

That livery is bad 👎

A lot of people think this, but to me anything looks acceptable after they made liveries like these:

934 RSR, VW Beetle, Ragtop '59 Caddy.

I'm unsure I see the logic in fitting larger wheels to fit better on the track. Mind elaborating, @Apok?

I've come to really dislike the Heat Fleet series thanks to them. Here are some more Heat Fleets:

Thanks to them, I was able to realize what an awful mistake I make purchasing these things.

Honestly, I actually don't the livery on the Lancer that much. The blue wheels on it though, horrid.

@Apok - I have the 2000GT & Z3. Also have the DB5 as part of their "diorama" featuring I think oddjob fighting Bond.

I don't mind the graphics or wheels. Don't hate it, but casting is just 'meh'.

Edit: Two cars to share.

While my Walmart's partying hard like it's 2014, I found that little bike & I had to get it. Along with that Harley with a dog & old Yamaha bike, it was a must have. 👍
