I saw their tweet this time. Sort of popular import in Japan back when, but the models look bit rough to me. I may still buy it. Has that late-80's goodness to the look. :P
It's upside down, so I will start at the top?
Edit: And the other TLV Silvia Silhouette looks to be on it's way, finally!
You are getting yours, and as you know, this is the one I preferred. :embarrassed:
To be fair, that particular Sivia is the one he's been waiting for, since the Silvia pair were revealed this time last year. But I agree, Shinji does have far too many Silhouettes. He should share them around. :D
Well now Bonsai jii-san will never have to worry about the lack of a TLV rendition of said Silvia anymore, all he needs to do now is fork over the dough.
And I certainly agree with your latter statement; why not allow for Super Silhouette car rentals, Bonsai jii-san? :sly:
You guys are both on my S-List. No, not the Super List, the other S-List.

Bonsai jii-san = Planted-in-a-container Grandpa.

Kyosho Nissan R92cp Fuji 1000km Carp Streamer

It's a load of carp that a few of us already have this. :grumpy:
What's worse; it would be a really big load of carp if everyone got one.

edit: ought to work on that color balance.

Of course, a special kind of idiot such as myself managed to do that much, so hooray for me I guess? :dopey:

I think I'm an idiot for not noticing it in the first place.

Just found another glimpse of it in this pic. TLV are really going all out on these Panda's. Five of them? Got to say that I'm digging the light blue and Police version. :embarrassed:

BRE-Hino Samurai...

That'd be a real interesting car to do. I'd be down with that.👍

Only if you've got a spare room going.

Indeed. Hopefully we'll see it before the end of the year. 👍
No, not the Super List, the other S-List.

The Special Best Friends list? :D

I got mine by accident a couple of weeks after it's release. Pretty sure someone ordered it and then forgot to pay their invoice or something? :embarrassed: Sweet pics, Andy. 👍

The Sharing List? Oh, Bonsai jii-san, you didn't have to. But I welcome your kindess, such a classic Japanese personality trait... :sly:

See? Andy is already looking after the elderly, truly a man of many talents...

Or maybe that's just his inner Canadian speaking. :P

Screw you Andy The Kind Canadian, one day even I will own a carp like yours. You talking carp isn't enough to deter me from doing such!
It is only fair that I should; my Twitter conversation with Japanese anime mechanical designer Takahiro Yamada, which taught me about the Katsunobori kites children make for Children's Day in Japan, the same kites which inspired that fantastic canard design, I owe it to Yamada-san to buy and maintain my own Katsunobori with pride and kindness...

So yeah, everyone should own one of these, just to spite Andy. :P

So we'll settle on us both being idiots, then?

Well at least Panda fans will not be complaining about lack of variety, that much I can say... Shame there aren't more models available right now, like a 4x4 or a Carabinieri version... But for now, these 1000CLs will do. Maybe a few more months will make them look a little less rough around the edges.

That'd be a real interesting car to do. I'd be down with that.👍

See? And being a racing car from the '60s, it would be right up Tomica's alley. Not to mention that its design and livery aren't overly complex...

The Special Best Friends list? :D

No, it's the Sharing List! Silly Aussie Goat... :P

Don't be such a donburi, my friend. You wouldn't want a nice guy taking a carp on your onigiris.

Er... my apologies, please don't ruin my sushi with your carpy cooking skills. I prefer my onigiris with a dash of soy sauce, not straight up carp.

I wonder if that's the same Nissan I was thinking about. I saw it for cheaper, so I dropped that one. :P

I bid and forget and secretly hope I get outbid.
Not me. I almost always have one price. I snipe with it.

People frown on snipers, but too many times I get that one guy who bids like five times just to outbid you one time.

I do that with stuff I really really want. Like Schucos. Oh yeah, Schucos.

One of it is so embarrassing to tell he covered it up. That pic reminds me of the good ol days.

No fool is going to chip in a dollar only to immediately see they threw it out the window. They are for sure going to make that dollar count.... by throwing in another one...

and another, and another until the light turns green!

Nah, I just don't want anyone guessing that one. After all, what's the point in posting pictures if you all already know what it is? :D

This arrived from Japan Booster today. Impulse purchase on a lazy sunday afternoon but worth it, cool casting.

Kyosho 1/64 Alfa Romeo 155 V6 Ti by Jarrod, on Flickr

Love the casting, hate the fact that it has no livery to cover it. You can't just leave a 155 touring car in white without a livery man, that is criminal. To be a true Alfa, it has to include at least one shade of red! Quick, get a spray can and fix Kyosho's mistake! :nervous:

Joke aside, it does look good, although I get the impression that the exhaust tips are somewhat uneven-looking. That could be related to the angle of the car in your photos...

Holy crap mate how much did you pay for that? I really want it.

It was around $25 all up. I was after the Jagermeister version to begin with but that was bringing way more money than I was comfortable spending at the moment.

Actually I was looking at the red version as well but white looks cleaner imo. :P

They do look like they slope down to the right. Good spot.

Good spot indeed because they are uneven. Honestly I didn't even notice at first.👍

You won't be saying that for long if you let the car gather as much as one speck of dust... :sly:

Well, my eyes were keen for a change, glad to hear it wasn't just me. 👍
But it could be worse, all things considered; at least Kyosho bothered to shape those plastic pieces into round exhaust tips with a hole in the middle. Unlike a certain CM's Mitsubishi Lancer (or was it a Galant?) I know, which just has Minecraft brand exhaust pipes...

I like the red too, but seriously, you could dump any color or pattern on that casting & still look good. :P

Don't worry about these guys, @Apok I have a Hello Kitty car, too.

They installed Lexus exhaust they found at the wrecking yard.
VXR
It's absolutely glorious in person.
I hate to pay premium, but I need to get this one online. I've yet to see any Japan Historics in stores & I have no reason to believe I'd see this line in stores anytime soon, or at all. Even if it does show up, Ford GT & Skyline would be gone within hours.

Edit: Why are there rubber tire Gran Turismo cars on eBay? Are they the ones that leaked from factory early?
