Too many TLV's in one photo! You're making me drool goddammit

I just checked the Tomytec page & it says that they were special version offered to select dealers. It mentions "mellow yellow" & "seychelle blue" body color made available only for the Patios. Japanese Wiki says Patio version came as sedans, either with 1.5L or diesel. I think they also came with year supply of Jamba Juice, but I'm only speculating.

Good catch. It also says similar releases are coming:
In 2016, we will reproduce the "special specification car" in a variety of '80s models.

Successfully installed the spoiler on my TLV CR-X. I would not recommend it for anyone without modeling experience. You have to cut the delicate spoiler from a very thick runner in 3 places and then trim it down without gouging it too much or even snapping it in two. Only after that can you attempt to glue it down without any guide.

Spain had so many red Escorts I bought it again on a short card, so I could have the illustration. Much happier now I don't have to settle for the multipack I bought.

There's something about these cars when in their packaging that I like so much.

^ Sometimes the illustration is enough for me to buy the thing even though the casting is pretty bad. I almost got won over by this one:

That lifted chin is just too damn ugly to overlook though.

I'm just mad they cancelled the Mazda LM55.

I forgot about that! I'm mad too now.

We get Mystery Models now. Yay.

24 Ours. I was actually supposed to stop collecting these, but I forgot it was on the blacklist.

Fast 4WD. Already in the process of receiving touchups like all the previous releases. Bonus addition: Dirt!

Mountain Mauler. I should probably laver these in dirt too. Don't see much potential for resale value anyway to justify keeping it stock.

Those cars are garbage. But when Andy takes pictures of them, I feel like I need them. I don't, but they look so valuable to me... black magic.
Oh there's no actual connection between him and Calsonic/Nihon Radiator, if you were thinking I was implying such. Calsonic was just his main sponsor, and stood by his side even after the creation of the Impul racing team. The Super GT car fielded by the team these days still has that classic Calsonic blue, that's really it...
False advertising!

without any guide.
Are you kidding me right now.

You know what's great about that car? It's floating right on the skyline.

I'm sure there's got to be like 4 castings by now I've swayed your judgement on. I'm striving to reach the 5th. Did that Camaro SS work?

I wish Mattel sold Real Rider sets, like just the wheels (with tyres). That'd be spiffy.

I know they did something like that back in, I think, the early 80's, as a customiser set with decals I think.

Nice pun. So punny.

You know... Aoshima could learn a lot from Kyosho when it comes to paint quality. Majority of the models I see (and own as well) have paint bubbles. On this model, they're quite subtle, but still bothers me.

False advertising!

Well, the only change is the addition of the Kansei name...
...and a whole new logo, I guess. That was probably the reason why I, for a GTP B-Spec series, decided to paint a GT-R GT3 in blue and then added an actual Calsonic Kansei logo for realism's sake.

And then I plastered a Japanese videogame character on the sides of the car and ruined its realistic "Shin Calsonic" ways;

I got one too! A pun, that is;

That car is the Prince of Bozozuku cars. Or at the very least, his Niissan... :sly:

Yes, very difficult to install that spoiler, I think I will not try any sooner, I´m a little scared of doing it

Fresh bin out in the middle of the day and not a single super... Gotta love Walmart employees... At least I found everything I wanted out of those cases

That's because this pile of stuff is only for kids 1.5 to 6 years old. C'mon dude. Don't you recall Mattel saying Treasure hunts are for "adult collectors"?

The new Camaro? No. :P
Completely ridiculous. :boggled: Can't wait to see you attempt this! J/k :P
Got mine today. @GroupB wasn't kidding about the thick runner holding the wing at 3 points. It'll be bit scary. I opened both CR-Xs though, they are so frigging pretty. I also got the Tomica Premium Subaru Impreza. Much nicer than the impression I had from online pics.
Actually, your Civics should be getting pretty close by now, no?
CR-X, right?

...... You might be related to Andy.

I've been consistently missing out on "the day" to check incoming Hot Wheels. I missed one day on Japan Historics, all I saw left was one defective Kenmeri Skyline Police Car. Yesterday, I missed when the Beatles cars finally came in at my Walmart. :banghead: I saw "The Beatles" dump bin, I already paid a scalper for four Blue Meanie Kool Kombi, but I was like "I can use couple more"...... There were like 20 of each Beatles casting. ZERO KOOL KOMBI. I didn't check this store Wednesday guys. Thursday, they are all gone. God bless them. Again, if Mattel is reading this, PLEASE KILL THE SCALPERS WITH OVERSATURATION OF COOL CASTINGS. Rest of the Beatles lineup, my god, they are ugly. I passed on all of them, and I'm a Beatlemania hot wheel collector. :yuck: My post on the Kool Kombi.

Oh yeah, I know. I'm not going to be attempting mine one at all.
I was hoping you install yours first & you could teach me, so I won't @#%# mine up like yours.
Glad to hear that they finally arrived. 👍
Thanks! Yeah, Air Packet or whatever's the winner. One week for my Silvia(air) versus three weeks on the CR-X(regular registered).
No idea why I wrote Civic. :dunce:
Come on Jarrod. I already have all of them. No more needed for now. Harhar harhar..... :P
