Knew you'd like them.

It's sort of out of the way for me, but I'm up for going again next weekend. The other cars that I left behind were pretty beat up. Some were bent, engraved, had missing pillars, and just thrashed overall.
Would love a top for the Doozie, BTW!
EDIT: Here are better pics of the condition the Torino's in. Axles are still straight and wheels still spin.
Got damn. That thins is good as heck. I don't have the international version of that car, but I do have the even-harder Made in Mexico Thrill Drivers Torino in white, in alsmot as good condition. Let me find it and I'll post pics of it.
Went to flea market today and scored the following for either 25 or 50 cents a piece.
Drove an hour to hit best Antique mall around St. Louis. 80,000SQ of money down the drain fun. One of the booth had HW 70% off! The 30th anniversary cars were $1.50 and the five packs were $1.80. Bought the guy out.
Found seven Ultra Hots I was missing. (BMW has silver UH)
Bought about 30 others, but I've already put them into cases. Its fun to buy HW again and share them with folks
wait WHAT? Screw every one in this page, now it turns out everyone is finding cheap old cars at flea markets but me. Dude, 25 and 50 cents a piece! Steal. Also, wtf with the 1.50 anniversary cars. Amazing prices! And some pretty cool cars you got there.
got dammit, I cannot let you all get so ahead, so I'll counter-attack with... my own recent flea market finds!!!
These came from a local market, in a toy and gift store that has yielded good results in the past, and this time was no exception. All of them were less than $1 us with the exception of the WRX and RX7, $1.50 US each because the hood opens. The fact that almost all of these were impossible to buy in stores here in Mexico makes me think that the lady I bought them from brought them from the US. See:
The red truck is Hot Wheels and is obviously missing its rear stake bed. I initially grabbed it because of the six axles in really good shape, but then in the same goodie bag I found the blue Maisto truck. When I put them together the Maisto stakes fit the HW truck almost perfectly, so now Ill make the swap. Ill show you.
The King funny car is a very rare piece over here, as the series in which it was released was never sold here. Its in excellent shape with a couple chips, but still, a great find.
This Jada Mustang GTR is very, very rare over here, as it was released several years before Jada was sold officially in Mexico. Its practically new but
the wing is broken. I almost left it there because of that, but in the very same bag there were other cars with wings so I found a replacvement right there in the form of this Hot Wheels Out-a-line, which is a toon, no-license version of a R34 GTR. The wing is bigger and was the only one that fit the Jada Mustang, itself a lot bigger than a regular HW car. Ill have to cut the wing in pieces to make it work, but saving the Mustang is worth it.
This Mustang II is a Motor Max Cherry, from a series that also included a Vega, Monza, Pinto, Gremlin, Maverick and other compacts from that era. The thing is awesomely detailed with rubber tires and Minilite-like wheels and is very rare here because they were never sold in here officially.
Both ricers are from Muscle Machines, and were also never sold here. They are amazingly well made with lots of separated pieces. Even tough riced up cars are not my style at all, their quality made me keep them. These two cost me $1.50 US each. Wonder how much they were worth when new.
The Maxda RX7 has a detailed Rotary engine with a separate-piece intercooler, loads of sponsors, a complete sound system, and of course, opening hood.
The WRX has got its turbo poking trough the hood (I really liked that detail), full bodykit and two-tone wheels. The interior is also excellently detailed. Its missing its exhaust tip, but Im already looking for a replacement.
Finally, Maistos Porsche 550 Spyder, an excelent casting thats utterly ruined by the terrible wheels it comes with. This is almost brand new.
The idea with this car is to swap its wheels for the ones in this Matchbox Holden, which also came from the same place but for some reason, it didnt appear in the group picture. The reasoning behind this is that the 550 will look awesome with the flat steelies in the Holden, while the Holden could use other sets of wheels that maybe wouldnt fit the Spyder. The Panel will be rid of the horrid tampos but will keep its stock color.
