I am the only one that got emotional with Kaz Greeting Card?

I bet its the only game producer in the world who does that.

These small touches makes me continue to support and love the GT series. There's some heart and soul in it.

I kinda wish the card would have saved to my items so I could go back and look at it when I feel ways about stuff :(
 
I do not get this dynamic cam business? I put it as full car in the game options well *full view) and it is no different at all?
 
Just found something else. In the quick options screen in game you have various selections of what items you will see ex - speedo, times, etc. with check boxes.

The rain effects are incredible now!! No more giant pixels in the spray/smoke. The rain in the cockpit is far more beautiful (and i test all that in a standard car, hehe) Really nice. :-)

Finally. Now I can enjoy the rain better in 3D, even tho the 3D is already awesome as is.

Dude no offence, but err it is a game relax lol nothing to get emotional about haha sorry but i had to laugh at u being emotional over it.. It isn't anything special

Well, huge Gran Turismo follower here man... since I first played GT1 more than 10 years ago...

I'll not try to explain how important it is... enjoy it as you like :) Merry Xmas!

Nope. You are not alone. Just classy of PD. Support? It's hard enough to put the game down, especially in 3D. Of course I will continue.
 
Very glad that PD sticks with this game, unlike f1 2011 which is useless without much needed updates. To PD, this seems to be a matter of honor, the improvment seen in this game over the last year had been much appreciated and really added to the experience.

What is this chase cam? I looked in settings there is nothing, i changed from cockpit to behind car etc and nothing? What is so different about it? And how do u enable it?

The Camera behind the car. Just take a car and go down the hill at SPA. I swear it made my stomach drop like I was falling or something. Everything before looked flat, but now you really get the elevation changes.
 
I love the rear wing selections for the GT86. Tiny or Monstrodiculous. :lol:

My Sti is happy now. The gold wheels are gone. I can go to sleep now...

Anyway, Australians, thank the 4.25 interest rate for a price hike in the DLC, its $5.6 for us (meh only .60 cents I say).

Can anyone buy it yet? What's the deal with this? I've checked the store 5 times, in and out of the game with the DFGT spinning its heart out every time, in and out, nothing yet, just the original 5, it is under PS3 add-ons > G-I > Gran Turismo 5 - right? All 5 other DLC packs are there (well 4, and the combined discount bundle of those 4).

EDIT: It's apparently available tomorrow (21st of December). No time given though

Now my question: how do you get more "restoration" cards?


Edit: new Seasonal: stars and stripes. PLUS!!! We get Level tickets for winning ALL 5 events (and for all previous seasonals - though a good chunk of them are gone now, including everyone's grinding favourite - Le Sarth).

In Online racing, penalties for corner cutting can now be enabled for Free Run

AKA

Online racing leagues can force drivers to set qualifying laps obeying GT5's corner-cutting penalty system.
 
Don't know if it has been mentioned since there are over 250 posts in 30 minutes, but the Seasonal Events no give Gift Tickets after you beat them.

Seasonals you have completed have tickets waiting for you

I don't see the FT-86 II concept '11 in the dealership. I did buy a paint pack and got this though. Prev purchased the full set of DLC so this was my "multiple" purchase.
