I'm not sure but i've heard that an F1 car brake pedal needs around 70 newtons of force to be full on. He can't have been unconcious to apply that kind of force.
The brake graphics they show on the broadcasts are incorrect, whenever a driver touches the brakepedal the graphic shows he's fully on the brakes, which we know is not realistic for every single brakingzone.
The throttle graph seems to be correct though, meaning he was fully on the throttle but still applying a decent amount of brakes since he wasn't accelerating like he would've been if he was flatout.
I doubt he'll be racing tomorrow, hopefully no permanent injuries.
