Anes, I just plain don't like Red Bull. If it makes you feel better I would have said Ferrari if they were ahead of Renault.

So?

You don't inadvertently "want" another car/another person to crash.

I don't mean crash. I was horrified when Red Bull had their crashes. I just wanted their race collapse around them. Like what happened to Kubica.

Remember Ardius and Sureshot arguing about overtaking at the hairpin. Kobayashi proves you can.

Ah. Well, many apologies then.

In other news, I really want to see that Senna film. Hope it comes to NY

Which probably won't happen.

13.3 seconds between Vettel and Hamilton. The top 5 are going to pit shortly, with the exception of Button.

Yeah but mostly from mistakes/contact. That Kobayashi pass was pure brilliant. No mistakes or anything.

TBH, it was a bit of a banzai (throwing caution into the wind) move which forced Sutil to yield, and luckily for Kobyashi's sake, Sutil was fully aware of his dive bomb and didn't turn in on him.

Because Mark Webber has had good luck his whole career and doesn't deserve a break at all...

This is shaping up to be an epic battle between the two Merc boys :sly: I love it :) Schumi proving he still has what it takes on such a demanding circuit.

What the hell?

"There are no team orders, but Nico knows to be sensible if you make a move."

If there are no team orders, why even mention it? Blockhead.

Again, Schumacher is impressing the crap out me...best race I've seen from him all season.

A very nice Silver Arrow shot. Rosberg is being sensible, whilst Schumacher is really pushing hard to overtake his team-mate.

Button's got problems. He's got to pit sometime soon to stay out ahead of Kobayashi... but McLaren might just want him to stay out there to hold up the Red Bulls... give Lewis an outside shot of leapfrogging some of the guys in front of him for a podium.

[/conspiracy theory]

Ferrari pit radio: "Red Bull is not very quick at the moment..." No duh... they're bottled up behind Button!

EDIT: Kamui doesn't seem to have the pace to keep up with the front runners... scratch that. But Button is most likely to end the race where he started unless someone else goes out.

I don't recall RB being held up by Button at the time of the radio transmission. Maybe I haven't been watching closely enough though.

Just two seconds between Button and Vettel, then 2 seconds to Webber. They're saying the RBRs aren't very fast at the moment... from the timing screens, they're simply pacing Button and trying to stay in clean air.

LH loses third gear. Doesn't bode well for his race. He may still finish fourth, but he's bound to be disappointed not to be able to take the fight to Alonso.

The only corners which drop below 3rd gear are the hairpin after Degner, and the chicanes after 130R. LH needs to double shift, making him lose time on those two corners.

Ouch...that sucks for Hamilton. Another 5 place grid penalty for the next race and possible DNF in this one  His Championship hopes are quickly getting flushed down the drain...

Nico holding his spot is awesome. Lewis losing third gear is not so awesome.

Seems he's been having some rotten luck lately.

Button is right behind Hamilton, with 9 laps to go... LH has let Button go on the hairpin. EDIT: Sutil has retired

I have a feeling Vettel is going to win the WDC this year. I just can't shake that feeling. He's definitely quicker than Webber and Webber's showing a habit of choking on the strarts.

On a lighter note, I still want to hit commentator Legard repeatedly with a pool cue.
