2:00 left when session restarts - enough to get 'out' lap and one flyer...

EDIT: Here we go again - track status is 'open' and red lights still on in fast lane. Thought the FIA had ironed those issues out after all the problems last year?

I think there's something to be inferred from seeing your team in the garage just turn and walk away from the monitor after seeing your accident.

Almost like they were expecting it, and then disappointed to actually see it happen.

Bear in mind that Vettel's time was set on softs, not on super-softs. It would be astonishing if he didn't set the Pole time this afternoon...

The damage on Liuzzi's car is serious. I think he already crashed 2 times this weekend? Did Karthikeyan ever put a foot wrong this weekend?

Yup, Liuzzi was first to crash on Thursday and now he's done it again. Narain is doing his reputation a world of good by simply being close to Liuzzi in the times and managing not to crash.

Well Fernando and Seb are murduring Massa and Webber again.Lewis is strangely not that fast (Neither is Jensen too).Fernando had to do an astonishing lap to Peep Seb unless Redbull Decide they won't use the Super softs

All I have to say is I hope Schumacher does something here! I am hating seeing my racing hero not at the top of his game...
But I would like to see Mark Webber get pole here... and I'm not too pleased with Lewis' attitude, claiming people blocked him last week. He needs to lie the blame on himself. If anyone blocked him someone else would have picked it up. I mean even JB said it's highly unlikely. So I don't wanna see Lewis progress this weekend. My winner... I think Webber again...

Can't read anything into a practice session... Especially not when people are running different tire strategies.

I'd say Alguersuari was an interesting drop out...

Very quick lap from Maldonado. Anyone catch what tyres he was on?

Fair enough, but who else would you expect?

HRT say it was a rear suspension issue that stopped Karthikeyan from going out. Are they sure it wasnt Liuzzis car?

I think they were Options.

Disappointing from Kobayashi. Good from Di Resta

Yeah where Did MClaren Come from  .Really looking forward to Q3 Now .Should be awesome

Could have been them. Although Maldonado fancies himself a bit here.

He has been on fire lately.

Never really been a Williams fan, but I'm keeping my eye on that one.

Vettel has half a second Webber. 4 tenths to Button. Hamilton interrupted by Massa on his first lap.

Clock stops for a red flag for Perez.

I think everyone has to do another lap to avoid losing out

Ouch. Not a good crash for Perez...sure this might cause a few arguments as to the placing of that corner through out this thread. :(

Got a real bad feeling here. That car looks vaporised. Praying for Sergio.

Apparently he's ok. Good news.

Conscious and talking.

👍

They're blocking the cameras with the tarps. That's not a good sign.:nervous:

It's a pretty hot day, it's likely there to prevent heatstroke in the hot racing suit as much as it is to shield from the cameras.

Opinion... They ought to put another minute on the clock for those drivers who'd already done their out-lap before the shunt.

That was DAMN scary... Personally... The corner itself is okay... But maybe they need to add a solid tire wall over the chicane to slow the cars down before they hit the barrier.

Shame for Perez... That was heroic driving getting the car up into Q3... handily beating Kobayashi... I hope he gets back in by next race.

Rosberg and Perez both having accidents on the same corner it isn't the nicest corner to race around.

Thank God he is Ok I did have a real bad feeling something really bad happened there .

Could be that he braked when the car was fish tailling is what caused the crash. Some Reports about him Injuring his right leg but Nothing serious .
