Ah darn. Why would they be closed? Are there prizes involved or something?

There are, and I think there was something up with a latecomer messing things up last year, so shut it nice and early this year. Shame for you unfortunately.

Well for me it's that (being last ) but it's as serious as you want it to be really.

I'll give it to United. They are really trying hard this second half. I'm not a fan of United but this is some seriously good play from them.

Yes, 2nd half was pretty good, but 1st half was just terrible!

United just slept the first 45 mins...

Everton sitting at the top after todays fixtures. Interesting...

Oh great. I'm guessing it was a great game to watch from a Neutral perspective but from a United fans perspective, it was a bit nerve racking. This is what lost us the league last year; losing to teams that we really should beat.

I hope Roberto Martinez has the balls to accuse the referee of having a Sunderland bias for giving the red card to the Wigan player.

No? Yeah why look to yourself when you can just blame 'Old Trafford' and the God of the FA, Sir Alex.

What? Tottenham are a really strong team. Yeah it's an upset if Man U loses to them but, it's not unheard of. They are that team that can easily beat the big names when they catch them sleeping. Or, if they are just playing exceptionally well.

Not a good day for my teams yesterday, Man United and Swansea both losing!..Swansea had such a great start but we have now lost our last 3 without scoring! and United had 87% of the possesion in the second half!!

*Self-serving, personal update*

After the Fleetwoods, Crawleys and Burtons of past, the Conference looks a lot tighter this season.

1st Forest Green 27pts
---
2nd Newport 26pts
3rd Wrexham 23pts
4th Luton 23pts
5th Dartford 22pts
---
6th Grimsby 21pts
7th Tamworth 19pts

Newport are bankrolled by a Euromillions winner, but look shaky against the top teams. Forest Green signed six strikers over the summer and simply score more than the opposition. Luton look as dangerous as always, with Mansfield and Macclesfield still yet to find form.

So far, we've drawn with Luton and Dartford, while we've beaten Grimsby and Newport. And we play Forest Green on Saturday. I'm quite tempted to drive over and watch it as it's a crunch game.

Wrexham have had a good start and are doing well! i hope they go up! 👍

Spurs hadn't beaten us at Old Trafford for nearly 25 years so I'd say it was a bad loss for us.

Seems like somebody is a bit pissed off...

Better then losing to Everton.;)

How can you tell?

And wasn't it a 4-4 draw where the Toffee's scored 2 goals in the last 10 minutes?

Nope, it was a 1-nil loss when Fellaini raped United off the Field in the first game of the season.:)

I know 2 losses in the first few games is bad Ross..but at least we are in the title race, ahead of city on GD and 3points behind Chelsea...i still dont know what to make of Chelsea so far!..are they still going to be in the hunt come April/May??.....hmmm..possibly..

Oh yes, this season, how could I forget about that one? And it also doesn't help that we have Cluj away on Tuesday.

Won't last.

I'm not so sure. From how they've been playing at the beginning of the year. They look pretty strong. I don't think top 4 but, they could definitely be giving that 5 or 6 place spot a run.

Agreed... And your suggestion is not top of the table.

Looking forward to this weekends games..Newcastle-Man united looks to be the pick on sunday..as a Swansea fan, i think a badly need a win at home to Reading tomorrow..we have lost the last three without scoring!

Too bad Roberto Martinez wasn't moaning about the referee having a Wigan bias this time.

Looking forward to the big game later, we need to respond to our defeat to Spurs last week..C'MON UNITED!!!

3 - 0 win! :D

Good first 20 mins, but only decent after that. Good game overall though. :)👍
