This. Don't go looking for fouls if you're already in the book.
The yellow card is a deterrent, not a signal of encouragement. Torres made too much out of minimal contact. However Chelsea have every right to fee aggrieved about United's offside winner.
A thrilling encounter.
That's what happens when you turn your back on the ball. It comes off your arse.
A good afternoons football. Loads of goals, loads of talking points, good stuff!
A goal is a goal... it matters not if it comes off your arse or off your Kuyt.Hey don't knock it, Dirk Kuyt has made a living out of it.

Which is why Torres is left foot gives way like he's been hit between the eyes?Torres got contact on the shin. That's a foul, because the United player didn't get to the ball. End of story there. If he hits the floor, it doesn't overrule the committed foul and make Torres all of a sudden deserving of a card for diving. It was a terrible call.
LiquidChelsea lodge a formal complaint against Mr. M Clattenburg, not for his MOTM performance deputising for Mr. H Webb, but for foul and racial language. The player involved in the allegation is John Obi Mikel.

Well, that is rather interesting. This ref just keeps getting worse and worse.
No offsides and using racial language. Isn't he a dandy guy.
Wow, I hope he didn't and its just Chelsea trying to hide the result. It's a sad day when the officials are being racist.
The campaign to respect officials is a noble one, but referees should be held to account, should they have poor games. Or at the very least, be subject to post-match interviews as frequently as the managers and players are.

It was a dive, he was in no way forced to the floor. You can argue it was a foul, yes, because contact was made that occurred previous to the dive but that contact wasn't responsible for the way he went down.
