Great week for my other team, Swansea, great point against Chelsea, knocking Liverpool out of the cup and only narrowly losing against City..

..i think we have proved that we can more than hold our own versus the stronger teams in the league! very happy swans fan!:dopey:

Here's my predictions.

Man City vs Tottenham is going to be a great game. City seem to be really confused right now and I think that Tottenham will pull a 3-1 victory over them. Chelsea vs Liverpool will be a 2-2 draw. Suarez will continue to shine and score both goals with goals from Mata and Torres for Chelsea.
 
I think both games will be draws, but theyll be high scoring and exciting!..also Roberto Mancini didnt turn up for the usual friday press conference earlier, there was no explanation either, David Platt filled in instead...i think Mancini didnt fancy it as he lashed out at the press conference before the Ajax game..

Yeah i think it would! key player for me in the match will be Luis Suarez..he has been in red hot form lately and scored a sublime solo goal v Newcastle last week...

It is purely a statistical comparison, and you can't say much from it, but that is staggering. However, United are increasingly reliant on van Persie; fast becoming a one man team. They need to replace their increasingly ageing squad with some quality. Giggs, Scholes, Carrick, Ferdinand, Evra, Vidic and even van Persie himself won't be around for much longer, with Nani, Anderson, Rafael and Fabio not providing top two quality, in my opinion.

Really!? i think we have one of the strongest squads in europe!!

..anyway, its remembrance sunday tomorrow and all 20 Premier league teams will wear poppy on their shirts and theyre will be a minutes silence before every match..
 
If they have one of the strongest squads in Europe, then they all deserve heavy fines for some sub-par performances over the last 18 months or so. They need to get some new players in, and not just one player for a hefty sum.

And that's from someone who likes United.
 
We got two players in for hefty sums, RVP and Kagawa..and we have some very good young players in Jones, Smalling , Powell, Welbeck, Cleverley, Tunnicliffe and Wooten..


this is a good game now!! was 2-0 down but now 2-2 with 25 mins still left!! C'MON UNITED!!!!!!

Van Persie must not be living right, awful luck.

He made up for it with a perfect cross. I don't like Hernandez, so I'm glad he won't be credited with a hat trick.

The most exciting game from the season that I caught is still Southampton v. Man City during the summer. That was close though.

Coming back from 2-0 down to win 3-2 with a Chicarito hatrick!

In the most tense way possible.

We need to find a way to get the first goal in a game. Consistently. The last real big game we have this half is Man City, and if we don't do it against them, we are damned.
 
I dont really like the fact that we have had to comeback to win in a lot of matches this season..i think its in double figuers now!..its good that we have the will to win and the hunger but it shows we are not dominating games, which we should be with the squad we have got..

..funny thing in the paper today when the reporter said 'United dont lose games, they just run out of time!'

The reporter must of been a United fan.... Fergie as usual throughout the game was refereeing it himself forever tapping his watch to indicate time that should be added on, nothing unusual there then.

As for Chelsea, we are in desperate need of a striker, with Terry going off as usual we are vulnerable at the back, Ramires didn't do a great job at defending the corner but Suarez did seem to give him a shove out the way.

Still early in the season but it is looking like a 2 horse race already, both Manchester clubs have excellent cover up front with the worst thing being that their strikers are in scoring form, including the super subs (Hernandez and Dzeko) :scared:

Falcao or another striker will surely arrive in January. His get out clause is crazy and seems a bit of a risk to me even though he is one of the best strikers around. I say bring Lukaku back from loan and give him a chance before potentially wasting 50-60 million on Falcao or Cavani for that matter, at least Lukaku is scoring.

I enjoyed the football today, two really good games..

...also, has anyone seen that stat about Suarez..that hes got eight goals and two assists as of right now and if Liverpool didnt have him they'd be bottom of the table on just two points!!!!

Falcao is great in the air as well as being brilliant on the floor, which sets him apart from those other Chelsea flops of the past. I'm sure Abramhovitch won't mind the price tag, even if the fans do. Which still leaves you with the thorny issue of Torres who has to be fair to him, been a much better player since last April. But still lacks £35 million of his price tag.

I bet Falcao was probably not mentioned even as a possible target for United, they pretty much got Arsenal down to the limit for what they would pay for RVP. With Falcao having a release clause of more than 48mil, there is no chance United would of even bid, maybe if Nani was part of the deal a deal could happen though, it sounds like he's heading for the exit anyway.

Still you would not be able to compete with Chelsea and City, not to mention the fact Chelsea would be a more likely destination for guaranteed first team football.

United and City each have 3-4 top strikers that are scoring goals, Chelsea only have a past it Torres and Sturridge. Like I said though I would prefer Chelsea to bring Lukaku back from loan and give him a chance, he is scoring at the moment even if it does take him 2-3 attempts before scoring :sly:

I agree, I think Falcao will go to Chelsea if he is to go to the PL. Although, I don't see Chelsea making a move on him, nor do I see Falcao being able to gel with the current team. But, it would be awesome if he did end up as a Chelsea player and he did work out. He made Chelsea's defense look like a joke earlier in the year.

I think Chelsea needs Lukaku back. I almost foresee him being better than Didier. And that is hard for me to say because I love Didier. Either way, Lukaku is still young and won't make mistakes after a year or two. How he developes around that, will determine how good he can really get.
 
So the Police have dropped the charges against Clattenburg. If the FA come back finding no evidence against him, I hope they not only throw the book at Chelsea, but the bookshelf too.

I think if Clattenburg is cleared then should be docked points!..his career could be in ruins...
