Fantastic week for Liverpool..two wins in the league and progression in europe..in the top half for the first time this season...the club seems to have settled under Rodgers.

Tough question, I can't think of anyone right now who stands out way above anyone else, it's not easy to have an underrated player in this league. Overrated would be a lot easier.
If I had to choose seriously though then it would be somebody like Kevin Nolan, overlooked for England even when the likes of Lampard and Gerrard were injured.
the entire Wigan Athletic team. Sure they don't always get the results, but their relatively unorthodox formation gets the job done. Kone and di Santo are a good forward pairing, their four primary centre mids can do a good deal of damage, their defensive wide-men can cause surprises and their defenders are relatively sturdy. Al Habsi is inconsistent and makes bad mistakes if he's not up to it, but on his day he is more than a good enough goalie.
I can think of quite a few! not just one..there are a few players who should have won England caps but havent..like Nolan, Noble, Dyer, Britton and Holt..
..other players that i think are underrated are..D.Fletcher, Routledge, Yacob, Al Habsi, Ireland, Neville, Sandro, Williamson..err..thats all i can think of for now!
Hate to break up this debate momunterily..but its Bradford v Arsenal in the League cup now and despite Wenger naming a really strong team, Bradford have just scored and are 1-0 up!
Good win for Bradford, that nine penalty shoot out wins in a row, which is an impressive record. Bad news for Arsenal, and the crowds are baying for Wenger's blood.
Otherwise, I think Berbatov is underrated, people just forget him sometimes.
Not useless, but all their big players they grow and then sell to other clubs. So they aren't really title challengers anymore, but still top six. Squad lacks in quality in several positions too. It's all gone downhill since you last looked in.
Wenger's policy was to bring in youth, groom them into world beaters and have them then carry the club to glory. The problem was, as soon as they got to a clutch game, they couldn't deliver, refused to sign new contracts off the back of their own inability to "win trophies" and got sold in big money deals to other clubs with deep pockets.
Wenger has stuck to this philosophy religiously, despite the same story happening year after year. Now he has brought in players that just are not gelling and not even getting the club into important games. Well done to Bradford, but its a shameful result for Arsenal.
Wenger needs to go; he has failed to deliver and his time is up. What a blotch on the record of a proud footballing club
